Stellarlune || a Keeper fanfiction

Predictions before I start Stellarlune

I had a whole plot mapped out for this story (obviously I didn't get to finish it before the real book came out) but I just got it a week ago and I'm about start it, so I'm putting down my predictions so I can see if I'm right. Tell me if I am if you've already read it !!

Basic summary of all my ideas: Ok so Elysian is a very special place that ancient elves have kept locked up forever. It's basically an underground river (which is important because underground rivers actually shouldn't exist but this one does) that has magsidian in its current, and since magsidian only forms underground and shouldn't form near a river (but it did anyway) this magsidian is special. This magsidian is not only able to harness the power of shadowflux, but instead the power of ALL of the elements, as well as the prime sources: Earth (it's underground), water (river), air, (the drafts blowing through this particular place), fire (this needs a pyrokinetic, which is why the neverseen have so many), quintessence (there's a tiny hole in the ceiling that reaches all the way to the surface, and at a specific special time the quintessence is able to shine through that hole and reach the river), shadowflux (it's magsidian), the sun, the moon, and the stars (quintessence is a star, and this special place is able to harness and SAVE the power of the sun until the moon shines). This special time is called NIGHTFALL. 

The starstone that Lady Gisela wanted made led her to Elysian. The golden seal that Gisela sent to that human man had the three prime sources on it: the sun, the moon, and a star, which symbolizes part of Elysian. Idk why she wanted to contact the human man i haven't figured that out yet lol. Maybe she wanted human information on how the stars work? That's a stretch but idk. 

Anyway when all that happens the magsidian becomes imbued with a strange power that the Ancient elves didn't want their people harnessing because it was too dangerous. This new substance is called STELLARLUNE. Lady Gisela wants to use Keefe as a test subject for this and wants to bring him down to Elysian and blast him with Stellarlune, because she wants her son to be the most powerful of all etc. etc. The strange vials that she had Cassius and her drink were a form of quintessence (the first secret element), and the second step involved magsidian (the second secret element), and this third step for Keefe involves the THIRD secret element, Stellarlune. The rest of the elements and the prime sources are easy to harness and elves have been exposed to them for their whole lives, which is why Gisela had to wait until Keefe was older to do some of the steps because he needed to absorb some of the rest of the elements' power.

 When an elf has absorbed all of the elements, they not only have ONE ability, they are able to have ALL of the abilities and they can merge them as well, depending on how powerful they are. A true harnessing of all of the world's power. Most elves only get one because they are only exposed to a few elements and prime sources, and their genetics latch onto one and create an ability out of it, or they combine a few and get an ability out of that. Elves that have elemental abilities are considered PURER and more powerful, because they were able to hone in on ONE element and harness it, which would make them good test subjects for Stellarlune. This is why Lady Gisela wanted Keefe tested for so many abilities, because she was hoping he'd get an elemental one. Idk why she wanted him to be tested twice for a conjurer, maybe conjurers are more powerful than most non elemental abilities? So far Keefe has only done 2 of 3 steps to Lady Gisela's plan, so he doesn't HAVE all of the abilities, he can just DETECT all of them in others and MERGE his own. 

So anyway, back in the day (millions of years ago) the elves' society revolved around this river (Elysian) and they would ALL have all of the abilities. But once they figured out that other intelligent species were living on Earth, they wanted to overthrow them, or at least be the leader of all of them. Back then no one knew that elves basically couldn't commit violent acts, so they were terrified because the elves were so powerful. The elves soon became rulers. However, soon enough, the other species figured out about the elves' inability to commit ACTUAL violent acts and planned to overthrow them. The elves, terrified, (because they were definitely about to be massacred), decided to make a deal: they knew that without the river they wouldn't be nearly as powerful, though they'd still pass down genetic codes which would enable their descendants to have a tiny bit of the power they once had, so they said they'd ditch the river if the species' decided to live together in harmony. 

Basically everyone said yeah sure (the ogres were pissed though), and now Lady Gisela, who learned this from Vespera since she's an Ancient, wants to bring back all that power, and since the Neverseen are way more ruthless than most elves, now they really CAN have absolute power, and Keefe is the prince to this twisted Legacy. Rulers, side by side, mother and son. So now Sophie and Company have to stop Gisela from capturing Keefe AND stop her from going to Elysian at Nightfall. Anyway I hope I was right bye !!
