It's August 8th and we're in Tuscany. A car travels through the curves of roads that envelop around the mountain, if you look more closely you will see a nineteen-year-old boy intent on not skidding off the road because of the mess that his brother and their friend are making. They are currently discussing goliardically which is the best NPC in a video game. Their friend is currently on vacation in a house near theirs like every year since they were little. His family and other friends went shoping while they go to the house of Luca and Tommaso's grandparents, abbreviated by all Tommy. They are going to their grandparents' house because they own an in-house pool in their garden and they are bringing their friend Lorenzo to cool off on such a hot day. "Oh, here we are" says Lorenzo who now knows the road better than Tommy and Luca: "Yes here we are" agrees Luca who parks the car in the garage and like the other two he goes to change to enter the pool. He goes out of the house and finds Tommy, who is staring at Lorenzo who hasn't changed yet. "Why didn't you change Lore?" Luca asks: "Why don't I come in" Lorenzo answers. Pretty pissed on Tommy asks: "And why?" With a quick answer Lorenzo says: "Because I would like to remind you that a few days ago I opened my big toe on the beach, and I think it would only reopen if I went into the water." Luca with a mocking tone says: "What if I threw you in?" "Don't try Luca, I'd be pretty pissed." In the end only Luca and Tommy enter who after a while of tubs get bored and ask Lorenzo who was by the pool: "What do you do?" "Boh DnD?" Lorenzo answers (DnD is the abbreviation of Dungeons and Dragon a famous role-playing game with quite complicated rules for a newcomer to the genre) "What do you think? It's already difficult if we're focused and at the table imagine ourselves in the water!" Tommy begins. "A more simplified version only with a d20 that decides every result of your actions and a story invented at the moment?" Lorenzo proposes and with interest Luca says: "He can try, in case he solves the whole master's degree. Right Lore?" "You guys should learn the rules so that I can play sometimes too." Lorenzo answers. They then begin to discuss which genre Lorenzo should make the story of Luca immediately proposes a story in the current years while Tommy would prefer a Fantasy, since according to Lorenzo for a story in current times it would be necessary to prepare a moment before deciding to go for a classic fantasy, full of magic, fights and a lot of problems that Lorenzo will have to solve.
