The light washes over his features, the tall grass blades of the field tickle his legs and little rocks and sticks poke at his bare feet but he doesn't care.

Looking up to the sky, he closes his eyes for a moment, welcoming the warm rays of the sun. When he opens them, he squints a little to adjust to the change in light as he walks slowly, dodging the tall weed and skipping rabbit holes on the floor. The sound of wings flapping makes him look up in curiosity, thats when he sees butterflies, some feeding on the flowers and others flying near, batting their gorgeous wings and flexing their precious colors under the sunlight.
He lets out a sigh, a smile tugging at his face, smelling the fragance of the flowers and the wet earth brings such calmness, it makes him feel alive.

He raises his hand slowly towards a little butterfly trying to get it to pose in his finger, the wings design is mesmerizing, them being a light brown with little white pecks and black circles, it flutters its wings and puts one of its delicate legs on the tip of his fingerpad. There's a faint ringing on the back of his mind, always accompanying the whistle of the wind that embraces his figure and caresses his sides, rustling his hair.

"George!"

The peaceful calmness breaks and he startles in surprise scaring the butterfly and making it go away, he internally whines and turns around only for his vision to catch a flash of dark golden looks jumping slightly from jumping around in the field.

A blue sweater with various doodles and the little red and white cat beanie stand out among all the dandelions. Colorblind or not, its a beautiful picture that will get engraved in his mind forever. He watches as the other comes closer like an angel descending from heaven, the light making an aura so strong around him that he can feel it from the distance and he's sure for a moment that this isn't real, but those soft freckles and soft sigh comfirm its real.

This is their world.

Those slightly downturned eyes with that gentle green shining so brightly locked with his dark boba ones, the fate sealing once again their future together just like the first time their gazes crossed paths.
Big and warm hands snake under his shirt wrapping around his delicate waist, the cool rings make a contrast in the temperature making him shiver lightly.

"Hi." Dream whispers softly. The sky only gets clearer and the time slows.
The world stops, attentive at their interactions, the nature wraps around them as they stumble over the wet grass, giggling dumbly. The brunette goes silent admiring every feature of his face, placing both his hands on the youngers rounded cheeks, he remembers that everything they went through to get to this moment was worth it and it makes him giddy with happiness.

"I missed you." George murmured with umblemished love. The waiting for the visa to get approved, the sleepless nights planning how they were gonna meet, when and where were worth it, because they're no longer those "strangers" separated by miles and miles of ocean, by a scuffed discord call or a phone with poor signal. This is now, feeling themselves present, hearing eachothers heartbeats finally touching and memorizing their favorite places, souls merging into one.

"Me too." Dream spoke with his sweet honeyed voice, he gave him a sweet kiss and then he chuckled. Everytime they're together, George can't stop but remember the word "soulmates".
It seems so scary to think that maybe their souls were meant to fit in with one another. The magnetic pull, the deep connection, the way they can tell what the other is thinking, their emotions and the way their personalities just puzzle piece with eachother... it's like magic.

It's beautiful how that red invisible string stayed tied as strong as the first time their voices created the perfect symphony together.
