CHASE

Chapter Three

I managed to put my stuff into the car and out of nowhere Cass comes running up the driveway of the packhouse.

"Ash, oh my goodness, where were you Chase has been looking for-"

"It doesn't matter Cass I'm leaving"

"What, why?"

"I need some time alone and i need to see my parents anyway"

"So your going to California all the way on the other side of the country!?"

"If that's what it takes, yeah"

"And how are you going to get there, you don't have the kind of money for a plane ticket all the way to cali"

"I'll drive"

"What! Are you insane that's like a 3 day's drive without stopping"

"I already have this figure out, i drive for a day and than stop for some food and a place to sleep, it's only going to be like five days if i stop"

"So your really going to leave"

"Yes Cas"

"And I can't change your mind"

"No"

"Well I'll miss you"

"I'll miss you too Cass so much"

I pulled her into a tight hug and feel her tears on my shoulder.

I let go and get into the car, i start the engine and I'm on my way.

I look into the rearview mirror and see Cass waving with tears streaming down her eyes and a tear drops out of mine i wipe it away.

I've been driving for about 17 hours and choose to stop and get a hotel, I need to freshen up anyway.

I park the car and get out, i see the sign of the hotel. Gratesview hotel. I go in and see the receptionist about my age or a little older, i walk over there.

"Hi, can i get a room please" i said.

"Sure, hold on"

She began clicking away.

"Room 109, on the second floor" She said polietly

"Ok thank you" I said. And went outside to get my things.

I saw a guy who looked about 20 eyeing my stuff. I walked up to the car.

"Hey, what are you doing" i said.

"Oh, is this your car." He said.

"Yeah"

"Sweet ride"

"Thank you, would you mind telling me what you're doing?"

"I was just looking at it, I'm Josh by the way" he held out his hand and I took it.

"Ashley"

"Well, it was nice meeting you" he said and started to walk away.

"Yeah, you too" i have a weird feeling about him.

I opened up the car and took out my stuff.

When i was walking back into the building i couldn't help but feel like i was being watched ans i started to look around but didn't see anyone.

"Miss, miss do you need help" i heard and that pulled me out of my trance.

"Huh, uh, yeah, thanks"

"It's my job ma'am"

I didn't notice he was a bellboy.
He was cute, you know blode with blue eyes, muscular. If i didn't have a mate i would totally go for him.

"Ashley"
