"What's with all the commotion in the cafeteria today?" Soobin turned to Taehyung with a small smile as Taehyung asked in his usual deep but calm voice while glancing around.

"Captain Kim himself will find out why in a little while."

"Argh, I told you not to say that captain thing in front of me."

"Yes, Leader Nim!" Grinning, Soobin sat down from their table.

As usual, the first seat at the table was reserved for Taehyung, so Taehyung took his seat flashing a small smile at everyone. Almost everyone on his team was younger than him.

"Are you not going to have lunch today, Captain Kim?"

Mark asked while holding out a nearby snack to Taehyung. Taehyung sighed and took the snack packet.

Taehyung was assigned to the Special Task Force's anti-terrorism unit as the leader in charge of Platoon No. 13. Everyone in his team loved Taehyung so much that they jokingly called him Captain Kim.

Although Taehyung became the platoon leader because of his special talents, the reason why his teammates loved and respected him was because of his good character.

"The line is too long today Mark, I'll wait until the crowd thins out a bit."

"If you wait until the crowd is less, you will be left starving today." Woobin's answer filled Taehyung with curiosity, and Taehyung once again looked around the cafeteria, which was more agitated than usual.

"Really, what's all the fuss about today?"

"While you were on vacation yesterday, a new chef joined our division. Everyone fell in love with the chef's recipe in one day. There is so much commotion in the cafeteria because everyone is scrambling to eat twice." Yeonjun explained the situation.

"Here for Captain Kim." Soobin brought two plates of food and gave one to Taehyung.

"Soobin! I told you not to do things like this. Others will think that I make you guys do my work by scaring you." Taehyung blamed them as usual, but the soldiers on his team brushed it off with a smile. Even Taehyung didn't go on arguing about it because he knew from experience that his teammates wouldn't listen.
