The series begins with Twilight, in which we meet Bella as she moves to Forks and meets vampire family, the Cullens. Falling for Edward, Bella's life comes under threat from sadistic vampire, James. The novel closes after an attempt on Bella's life, whereupon Bella and Edward are reunited.
