"From the look on your face, something definitely happened."
Scara turned to you as he sat down at the table. His hands were wrapped around a warm cup of tea, he seemed attentive to what you would say next.
"Yeah, a lot."
"Spill the tea then."
You sigh and groaned in annoyance. "Someone has been trying to hit on me." Silly as it may sound but it does annoys you.
"Has it been affecting you this badly?"
Scara raised an eyebrow, his eyebrows bunched together. It wasn't the first time you had seen him show so much concern for you yet you still find yourself surprised everytime.
"It's not that serious, I'm just a bit....irritated. I've rejected them already but hearing people talk about it and adding more story into it, won't that piss you off?"
Thinking about it does pisses you off. You're not usually like these, maybe they went out of the line this time.
It felt like it was just a dare or a bet they made. To asked you out. What would you feel in that situation?
"I see.."
He was silent for a moment before he spoke again, his voice showing subtle hints of annoyance.
"Has this person stopped bothering you after you rejected them?"
You paused for a moment, and sat crossed legs on the couch. "Yeah, he actually did. But his friends kept prying and said that I'm too rude after rejecting him."
His eyes narrowed slightly, he seemed to be thinking of something. After a beat, he spoke.
"It's rather immature that he went to his friends to complain. But it would be best to ignore the comments they made."
He placed his tea down on the table and turned to face you. "They are fools who have too much time in their hands."
"I know.. I wanted to slapped them in the face, they're so annoying." You chuckled, slightly regretting you didn't do so.
"That's quite bold of you." He said in an amused tone, it was very surprising how bold you were.
"But in all honesty, they aren't even worth your time and effort. Ignore them and they'll find someone else to bother."
He really knows what to say everytime. You always wanted to rant anything to him and he'll say something you wanted to hear in return. And he's right.
You softly chuckled. You turned your head towards him, tilting your head a bit. "I guess I am."
Scara playfully scoffed and rolled his eyes in return.
You leaned back on the couch, you suddenly remembered something. You groaned.
"By the way, some classmates of mine wanted to introduce their friends to me."
"That's...rather sudden..." Scara raised an eyebrow at you.
"It seems that the school gossiping is getting to the best of them if they are now deciding to set up other people on blind dates with you."
You groaned.
You don't know how many times you've been groaning at this point.
"I don't know why of all people, they chose me for these. I told them I don't want to."
"I would imagine it was because of your appearance..?"
He looked slightly puzzled. "You are quite beautiful, after all." He mumbled the last sentence but you still heard it.
