Chapter 6

LANDO POV

Now that took a turn for the worse...

"Ehm... okay..." Where should I even begin? Alice is passed out underneath me, covered in vomit and my cum. I get off the bed and shake her gently. First off, we both need a shower. 

"Alice... wake up, we need to shower" She groans softly in her sleep, but doesn't wake up. Alright, she's not going to wake up so I'll have to clean her off myself.

I carry her to the bathroom and gently place her in the tub. It's a little tricky to get her dress off, but I somehow manage to undress her and climb into the bath with her. As I gently wash her off with a sponge, I notice a scar on her shoulder. It's the wound from yesterday... It's already healed, but has left another males ugly bite mark behind.

I frown... the fact that another male managed to put his mark on my mate before me... I want to put my own mark on top of it, and all over her. But I highly doubt Alice would like waking up covered in bitemarks she never consented to.

"If I ever find that wolf again... I will rip his throat open" I muttered as I finish cleaning us both. Naked I walk out of the bathroom with Alice in my arms, still sound asleep. The bed is soiled, good thing we have an extra room to use.

I kick the door open to the other room, and gently puts her down on the bed before laying down beside her. Watching her, I think back to my conversation with Oscar... being neglected by her pack, and her family... I can't even imagine the pain...

"I promise to never neglect you, to shower you with love and affection... and to support you in every decision you make in life Alice. You will never have to feel alone again... never"

I wrap my arms around her and kiss her forehead. She smiles in her sleep and scoot closer to me, nuzzling her face against my neck. I close my eyes, and soon I fall asleep with a firm grip around her. My beautiful mate...

ALICE POV

I wake up with the worst headache I've ever experienced and slowly sit up in bed. What the hell happened last night...? I remember watching qualifying with Lily and drinking wine... Oh, and Lando got pole! So we celebrated with some champagne and more wine. I look around, speaking of Lando... where is he?

I'm not in Lando's hotel room anymore, but the one I first stayed in... Did I fall asleep in here by myself? Oh no... What if Lando didn't want to share his bed with me and made me sleep in here? My heart stings from the thought.

I look down and realize that I'm completely naked. Did I undress...? This is getting more and more confusing and it doesn't help with my headache at all. I spot a glass of water on the nightstand and two pills.

"You'll probably need these, xoxo L"

Are they painkillers? I swallow the pills with the water and lay back down on the bed. I close my eyes and try to remember last night... Lando must've come back since he put the pills by my bed... Fuck I must've been so drunk... was he mad? Probably... I groan and cover my eyes with my arm. How could I be so stupid?!

The sound of a room key being beeped makes me remove my arm and I look towards the door as it opens. Lando, who's just been for a run, walks in while drying the sweat off his face with his shirt, revealing his well-sculpted body. I can't help but admire his abs and the prominent V going down his shorts...

"Like what you see?" I quickly look up again. Damn, he noticed? I just nod slowly. He comes over to the bed and sits down beside me, gently stroking my cheek.
