Lauren paused before she walked inside the brunch room seeing her father scared a little. apart of her was telling herself to turn back around and leave and another part of her was going inside.
Lauren took a deep breath and walked inside the restaurant going to where her mother and father was.
" Hi." Lauren said giving her parents a smile.
" Hey sweet heart." Royal said giving Lauren a smile.
Lauren frown not seeing her dad greet her he just had a bored look on his face which scared Lauren.
" So how is everything with Jasmine and Leah?" Royal said breaking the awkward silence.
" Good, me and Jasmine are not speaking at the moment, me and leah cool we are actually hanging out today."
" I met someone his name is tayvon we cool like on a friend's level cool." Lauren said causing her mother to nod.
" How are you doing okay? Are you not guilty?" Lauren father trey said.
" Excuse me?" Lauren said swallowing the lump that was in her throat.
" You heard me, how do you live everyday and put a smile on your face knowing what you did to your sister." Trey said causing Lauren tear to drop.
" Trey shut the fuck up." Royal said.
Lauren then yelled and said " it wasn't My fault I was 6 years old. You expected me to jump in and save her?!"
" Lauren lower your tone people are looking." Royal said causing Lauren to get louder.

Flashback 15years ago
"Mommy can me and Lauren go to the pool." Lauren big sister Layla said as they ate breakfast.
" Yes later , you know y'all can't go out by yourself."royal said going back upstairs.
" She always saying no, can you watch out for me while I go Lauren?" Layla said making Lauren pout.
" But mommy said no Layla." Lauren said getting out of her seat following Layla outside.
"So? Please it will be fun Lauren." Layla said giving Lauren puppy eyes.
" Fine don't be out to long." Lauren said making Layla nod.
Layla went to the pool and started swimming after 5 minutes Lauren heard screaming which caused her to run outside.
Layla was in the deep end screaming" help Lauren!"
Lauren panicked and ran upstairs and said" mommy Layla is drowning!"
Royal and Trey ran downstairs and to the pool area but by the time they got there Layla was gone.
" Why didn't you help her Lauren!" Trey yelled as he jumped in the pool.
Lauren just sat there crying into her mother's arms. __________________________________________________________________
FLASHBACK OVER
" I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"Lauren yelled jumping out of her bed.
" Fuck wrong with you?" Tayvon said mugging Lauren.
Lauren then sat down on the floor and started crying she hated having nightmares on what happened she felt guilty All over again.
Tayvon stared at Lauren in confusion and walked to the floor and held Lauren.
" It was my fault tayvon I should of helped her." Lauren said crying.
" What happen?" Tayvon said looking at Lauren.
Lauren told tayvon everything that happened and he hugged her until she went to sleep.
