You changed me

chapter 6

I wake up the next morning with a knock on my door.
"What?" I groan and put the pillow over my face.
"I was wonderingif you wanted to go shopping today for things in you're room and other things you might want?" My dad says nervously while walking in Mt room.
"Um sure just let me get ready." I say and he nods and exits. I gather my things for a shower.

After my shower I blow dry my hair and put on mascara and eyeliner. I decide on wearing wearing ripped jeans and a sweatshirt. I head down stairs to find my dad and sister sitting on the couch watching tv.

"I'm ready." I say to my dad.
"Oh alright so are we." We?
"Is Caroline coming?" I ask and she glares.
"Not by chose." She signs.

We all get in the car and drive to the mall in silence. When we arrive my dad hands Caroline and I a hundred dollar bill and tells us to meet back at the car at two o'clock. We both nod in agreement and walk to the front doors of the mall, I pull out my phone and the time reads excatly 12 o'clock. Three hours by myself in a place I have no clue where anything is.

Prefect.

I walk in and look around two stories of stores and little shops that seem to be extremely crowded. I turn to ask my sister if she can direct me to the stores I need to go in but she's nowhere to be found.
"Great." I sigh to myself.
I decide to keep going straight until I find a shop that has anything I need.
I find a Macy's and thought that there has to be something in there I could use for my room.

After looking for about fifthteen minutes I find four black throw pillows and each one has one letter and together they spell out L-O-V-E.
I also find a medium sized black fuzzy blanket to put on the end of my bed.

I can't find anything else in this store that I want for my room so I just stick with what I have and head to the line.
Everything ends up costing about $30.

As I head out of the store I check the time which is now 1:10 I decide to head to the food court to get something to eat. I go with Starbucks and get a green tea frap. and a cup of fruit and try to find a seat in the food court. I find one off to the corner and take a seat. As I put the straw in my drink I hear my name.

"Camila? "
I turn to see Louis smiling at me.
"Oh hey Louis." I say and sit up more straight.
"Mind if I sit next to you?" He points to the seat across from me and I notice that he is hold a tray of food.
"Uh sure." I say nervously and he takes a seat and opens up his sandwich. He takes a bit and I decide to quit staring and eat my fruit. We eat in silence for a few minutes before he speaks up.

"So what brings you here today?"
"Buying things for my room." I say and take a bite out of a strawberry.
"That's cool."
I nod and repeat his question, "Why are you here?"
"Hanging out with some friends." He says as he points to a table with a bunch of the people I met last night including my sister.
"Oh, not to sound rude are anything but why aren't you over there?"
"You looked lonely, and plus I can only take so much of them." He laughs and I chuckle.
"So what store are you heading to now?" He asks as I finish my fruit.
"I was thinking forever 21." I say and stand up to throw away my trash.
"Do you mind if I tag along?" He blushes and I smile.
"Not at all." I say and he smiles brightly and i can't help but stare.
"Shall we go?" He says and takes my hand. I can only nod at his gesture.

We head across the way to Forever 21 and go inside, we walk around until I stop at a rack of clothes to look at. I hestate to let go of Louis' hand but I do and go through the clothes.

"I thought you were shopping for things in your bedroom?" Louis say with a laugh.
"I did." I say and hold up the two Macy's bags. In response he just nods and walks to the next clothing rack and looks through it.
"Hey Camila, you would look amazing in this." He laughs while holding up a neon green snake print jacket.
"No way, that looks like something that you would find in Niki Minaj's closet." I laugh and so does he.

"Okay what about this?" He says while holding up a lace black crop top.
I look over it and notice that the sleeves are the only part that would show your skin through the lace.
"Possibly." I say.

"So are you readyfor school tomorrow?" Louis asks after we walk out of forever 21. I ended up buying ripped up black high waisted jeans and the lace black crop because I don't wear to much black.
"Um kind of."
"Nervous?"
"A bit."
"Why?"
I think for a moment before answering, "Well I don't know anyone."
"You know me." He turns and flashes his beautiful smile at me and takes my hand in his, again the gesture makes me melt inside.
"Wouldn't you want to hang out with your friends?"
"No." He says simply and i feel my cheeks heat up. I don't say anything after that and neither does he we just walk in circles around the mall.

I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket and I quickly let go of Louis' hand and reach in my pocket for it.
"Hello?"
"Hi it's uh 2 o'clock." My dad says nervously on the other line.
"Oh sorry i didnt realize,I'll be right out." I say and hang up.
"Who was that?" Louis asks while grabbing my hand again and swinging them back and forth.
"My dad, I have to go."
"Oh," He says with a disappointed face, " I'll walk you out." He smiles and i nod.

We walk out of the building he let's go of my hand and stops walking, I turn around to see what's wrong.
"What?" I say.
"Um I had fun today." He smiles and I can't help but chuckle. "Me too." I smile.
His next move takes me by surprise when his lips peck my cheek and i feel myself blush. "See you tomorrow love." He smiles and turns on his heel and walks away.
