"Seriously, you didn't have to come with me," Bryan stated without turning around as he placed his soaked shirt on a large rock on the riverbank to dry under the sunlight, quickly walking back and picking up his oil stained jacket and dipping it into the rushing river in front of him. "I'm aware, I wanted to come with you, how many times do I have to repeat that?" Molten replied with an amused tone as he observed Bryan's graceful form crouched on the riverbank, scrubbing the oil out of his jacket. "I know you wanted to, but I think it would've been better for you to stay put, that way you're not walking on your ankle too much," Bryan replied with a slightly sarcastic tone as he turned and smiled at Molten, causing Molten's non-existent heart to skip a beat, for once, someone who he wasn't related to, genuinely cared about him. Funtime Foxy didn't count, because sometimes Foxy seemed to enjoy Molten's company and other times Foxy didn't want him around, along with the fact that Foxy didn't show a lot of emotion, they were oddly calm when Molten sliced open his ankle, but Bryan and Lefty made it obvious they cared, truly. "Well, I'd rather provide you company than care about a wound I brought onto myself," Molten replied, returning Bryan's smile. "Well, thank you, but I care more about your well-being than wether I feel like having company," Bryan replied with a bright smile, and he gave Molten a loving expression before walking over to Molten, placing a quick peck on Molten's cheek, and then going to the rock his shirt was lying on, laying his jacket down next to it, and spread it out to dry with the shirt. "Let's stay out here until your clothes dry, it'd be some nice alone time," Molten suggested as Bryan turned and walked back over to him. Bryan looked into the forest in the direction where the work-in-progress cabin was, staring for a moment, before he turned back to Molten with a smile and nodded, which lifted Molten's already good mood.

Molten let out a quiet sigh, he somehow still wasn't ready to leave Bryan out here in the forest, he'd be alone and vulnerable, Molten couldn't risk losing Bryan, but at the same time, he couldn't just simply leave everything behind to stay with Bryan either. Molten looked away from the river and towards the horizon, where the sun was about to start setting, before he turned his head and looked down at Bryan, who was asleep in his lap. Bryan was tired from all the walking today, so Molten had suggested he take a nap, which Bryan agreed to and attempted to fall asleep next to Molten, laying his head on Molten's shoulder, but he claimed the rock that he and Molten were sitting against was cold on his back, so Molten pulled him onto his lap and held Bryan close as Bryan snoozed off. Molten stopped rubbing Bryan's back, and began to gently shake Bryan's shoulder to wake him up, which took a few tries, since Bryan groaned and swatted Molten away, which Molten found adorable, before Bryan finally opened his eyes and stared up at Molten tiredly on Molten's fourth try. "It's almost sunset, we should start heading over to meet Jon," Molten stated quietly, not wanting to be loud since Bryan just woke up. Bryan didn't speak, but he slowly nodded and made a small 'mhm' before rubbing his eyes and climbing off of Molten, swaying a bit as he stood since he hadn't gained full consciousness yet, but Molten stood and quickly steadied Bryan. "Careful now, you just woke up from a pretty heavy nap, give yourself a minute to fully wake up," Molten stated quietly with a loving tone, smiling down at Bryan as he stood in front of Bryan with both of his hands on Bryan's shoulders. "Right, sorry, what?" Bryan replied tiredly as he rubbed his eyes once more before he looked up at Molten with a confused expression, Molten held back a laugh. "Did you hear anything I said?" Molten asked with an amused tone as he rubbed Bryan's shoulders with his thumbs. "Uhm, I think? I heard that I need to take a minute to fully wake up, that's all," Bryan replied confusedly as he slowly leaned forward and placed his forehead against Molten's chest. "I said to be careful trying to get up before being fully awake, and that it's almost sunset, so we should start heading to meet Jon," Molten repeated his words with a calm and amused tone, and slowly let go of Bryan as Bryan looked up and towards the sun. "Oh, right! Come on! We can't be late!" Bryan stated as he slightly raised his voice with realization before he started running off, and Molten let out an amused sigh as he stood and waited, crossing his arms over his chest. Bryan came back after only about twenty seconds and made a slightly awkward expression, and Molten smirked at him. "Forgetting something? Two things actually?" Molten asked teasingly as he looked Bryan up and down. "Yea..., obviously the clothes, and forgot you can't really run now, sorry," Bryan replied sheepishly as he glanced down at Molten's bandaged ankle before rushing to his now dry shirt and jacket and quickly slipped the two on. "You owe me an apology kiss," Molten stated playfully with an offended tone as he looked away from Bryan defiantly, and he heard Bryan let out an amused sigh. Bryan quickly walked over to Molten, cupped Molten's face in his hands and pulled Molten into a rough yet passionate kiss. "Now come on," Bryan mumbled affectionately after he slowly broke the kiss and grabbed Molten's hand in his own, walking with Molten and making sure not to lead Molten over any large sticks or rocks, since Molten now had a limp.
