Dear Diary,
Halloween is coming up soon. I don't like Halloween. My mom always says it's when the devil comes out of hell and can walk free amongst us. He tricks us into doing bad things and causes us to sin. She told me that he hides razors in candy and hands them out to children like me. Or he makes fun of God, spreading lies and hateful words. She told me, people who dress up as what they are not are sinners. Lying to those around them to trick people into giving them candy. She calls them devils children.
I only asked if I could be Batman for Halloween.
