S.Coups sat in his room, the weight of his secret pressing down on him like a ton of bricks. He couldn't keep lying to Y/N. He couldn't keep pretending to be just a regular fan when in reality, he was the very member of the idol group she idolised.
As he scrolled their conversation, he couldn't help but feel guilty. She had poured her heart out to him, sharing her deepest thoughts and feelings with a complete stranger. And he had reciprocated, sharing his own thoughts and feelings, all while hiding his true identity.
But he couldn't deny the connection he felt with Y/N. Every conversation they had, every smile she had brought to his face, it all added up to one thing: he was falling for her. Hard.
S.Coups closed his eyes, taking a deep breath as he made a decision. He couldn't keep living a lie. He needed to come clean about who he really was, no matter the consequences.
S.Coups' POV
I took a deep breath and typed out an apology for not messaging her for the past few weeks. I owed her that much at least before dropping the bombshell. And then, with trembling fingers, I confessed.
"I have something important to tell you, Y/N. I am actually S.Coups from Seventeen."
I hit send and waited anxiously for her response. My heart felt like it was going to leap out of my chest as I watched the little typing bubble appear on the screen.
But when her reply came, it wasn't what I had expected.
"Haha, nice try, but you'll have to try harder than that to convince me." she wrote. I couldn't help but smile at her response. She was just too cute. I felt a pang of regret for not telling her sooner, for not being brave enough to be honest with her from the beginning.
