- Chapter 7 -

( Blade's pov )

The next morning i woke up by hearing a door open and close again. It must be Ivy's mom going to work. I opened my eyes and looked around, Ivy was still sleeping. We had school today. I didn't feel that well. it was like my stomach was turning and all the food i ate last night needed to leave my belly.

Ivy also woke up and and looked worriedly into my eyes whenever she saw me. 'You look pale.' She came closer and lay her hand on my forehead. I felt that feeling again but tried to ignore it. ' You also feel warm...' 'you can stay home today' She gave me a smile and settled me and pulled the covers over me a little more.

A few hours later Ivy left for school. I sat up. Maybe i need to walk a bit outside. Maybe i feel better then.

I dressed me and brushed my teeth before i went outside. There was a cold breeze but i still felt so warm. I walked to my favourite spot on this town, The forest. It was so peaceful and calm there. I sat on a bench and stared a bit at the lake.

I heard something cracking in the bushed behind me but when i looked behind me there was no one or nothing. I continued gazing at the birds that landed on the water.

Until i felt two sharp things burning in my neck. It felt like two knifes were sticking into the scruff of my neck. And that was all i remembered. I lay there unconscious on the bench. Blood dripping out of my neck...

( Ivy's pov )

It was a boring day at school. When it was lunch i agreed to sit at a bench with my friends. We talked a bit about being in love. It was the first time i talked about Blake to someone else. But it felt like something fell of my shoulders. I told them everything. From Blake being a vampire and that he turned into a human. They were a bit surprised but they trusted me. I can't think of better friends then them.

They told me that i should ask him on a date again. Maybe they were right. If i want anything to happen i should ask him out. I couldn't wait but first i needed to survive school today. This time without him.

When school finally finished i ran home as fast as i could. I wanted to ask Blade but when i came home there was no one. I decided to look in my room, but the bed was empty and unmade.

I started to look everywhere but didn't find him. I started to become worried. Where was he? Why did he left? I wanted to call him so i grabbed my phone and tapped his number in. But when the phone stopped ringing i only heard his voicemail.

I was so freaking worried but what could i do? I could search him in the town but it was so late and dark, it was really dangerous since i know vampires really exist and his family probably want to take revenge.

It's okay i start searching tomorrow. I think he's visiting his family or something. Nothing to worry about right?...
