Sex and guilt shouldn't be mingled until & unless it ruins somebody's life or something that equals to life i.e. self respect.
People feel guilty after a one night stand or just a very casual light hearted but pleasure filled affair. Quiet a few people blame it on God or destiny many times both for not making them their pre destined spouse first. Because they feel they don't deserve their actual spouse's physical love and emotional support.
But how long one can survive without sex? The answer is as long as they want & can. But not everybody is mentally strong.

For me basically it's called inflicting pain on self. But last time you were enjoying yourself now you are inflicting pain on self. Heal.
