This is one big experiment. Expect evolution.
To participate:
--- create a new work specifically for the Critique Exchange reading list
--- add the tag "LFCTX" to the new work
--- do not add the "LITFIC" tag - that's for readers to search; no point in cluttering it with critique notebooks and potentially turning them off
In your new work, you may:
--- post any text you'd like to recieve feedback on (a poem, flash, scene in a longer work, essay, etc)
--- links to your other works (if you are asking for feedback on a novel already on your profile, it's probably easier to just link it)
Things to include:
(not required, but might help)
--- what kind of feedback you're hoping to get on the piece (eg. "I think this is ready, I just need a second pair of eyes before I post it," or "Just completed rough draft; please demolish," or "I feel like there's something wrong in this scene, thoughts?")
--- where you prefer to recieve feedback ( via message, via comment on critique work, via comment on external work if you're linking to another work)
--- your return policy (eg "will read/comment back")
----- obvs there will be no vote trading -----
When you no longer require feedback on a work, it's a good idea to either unpublish the request in your LFCTX notebook or edit it and include that information (preferably in bold) at the top of the page. :)
I will post a couple samples in the next parts.
Any questions, hit me up.
