𝑹𝑶𝑶𝑴𝑨𝑻𝑬𝑺 | 𝑮𝑨𝑶𝑵 𝑿 𝑿𝑫𝑯

𝑪𝑶𝑴𝑷𝑼𝑻𝑬𝑹

it's been a month since Gaon got his job as a server and he's been pretty satisfied with how much money he's been getting paid, the restaurant is a pretty chique/fancy one so they did pay well

he's been saving up for something that he wanted for a pretty long time and that is a computer. although the boys did have a computer in the dorm, he could never get his hands on it since the others are hogging it

it was time to leave so he could buy it, he was excited to have a computer of his own since not only now but growing up his family wasn't poor but they also weren't rich.

once he got to the store, he went up the the worker "hello, are the ___ computers in stock right now?" he asked politely

the worker informed him that they weren't in stock of them right now because it's been getting pretty popular right now and it's in the top 3 sellers

Gaon was nice about it but that didn't mean he wasn't upset, i mean he's been saving up for months so it would be pretty understandable

he went back home and straight to his room not even greeting his friends, they thought it was pretty weird since Gaon would always start a conversation and it would last hours but they brushed it off

he laid down on his bed and just stared up at the ceiling 'why'd it have to sell out now? why would everyone want it now?" Gaon thought to himself getting more agitated by the thought of the only thing he's been wanting for years to sell out only when he had the opportunity to get it

he realised what he was doing and immediately stopped, Gaon hated overthinking since it would remind him of when he was going through rough times

even looking at the scars on his body would make him feel ashamed of himself even tho he knew those scars mean a lot, they were his battle scars

after getting professional help he promised himself to continue life in a positive way, if something bad happens it is what it is and it cannot be changed

he opened his phone only to see that it was around 1pm and his two classes of the day would start soon so he decided to just get everything out his mind for now and and just get to class

he doesn't know why he thought that would work because right when he got there, he wasn't even listening to the teacher.

he was just tired and wanted to ignore everyone and go straight to sleep but he knows he cant skip the next class because he already skipped a class yesterday and got let off with a warning

Gaon was scribbling on his notebook until he felt someone next to him, looking to the side, seeing Jooyeon who was also looking at him and giving him a smile

Gaon smiled back and started paying attention to the teacher again but after a while Jooyeon asked if Gaon could come back to the dorm with him since he "forgot" something

Gaon didn't want to at first because he was too comfortable in his seat but Jooyeon ended up dragging him out anyway

once they got there, Jooyeon led Gaon to Junhans room and knocked "Gaons here!!" Jooyeon yelled.

meanwhile Gaon who was next to him was just confused, when Junhan opened the door he was happier than usual and he was holding a present and held it out to Gaon

"this is yours" he said while Gaon took it from his hands with a smile and said thank you

when he opened it, it was the laptop! "how'd you guys know?" Gaon questioned smiling like a kid who got told he could eat all his halloween candy

the boys explained that they saw a note in his room that said "The _ laptop wasn't in stock :(" and decided to go out their way to find it in another store while Gaon was in class

Gaon was just speechless and he hugged the two "thank you thank you thank you!!" he yelled  as the two boys laugh at him thinking he's cute

"well i've got to go to class but i hope you enjoy your computer!" Junhan said smiling and giving Gaon a side hug before bidding the boys goodbye and leaving

Jooyeon and Gaon were now in the living room setting up the computer and by setting up i mean Gaon doing all the work and Jooyeon talking about something completely off topic the whole time while a movie played in the background

once he was done setting it up the first thing that came to mind to both boys was playing fire boy and water girl together

Jooyeon ended up rage quitting because Gaon kept annoying him on purpose by not actually playing the game but just running around

they then decided to watch a horror movie and charge the laptop. while Gaon was making popcorn, it was awfully quiet but he didn't question it thinking that Jooyeon maybe went to the bathroom or something

he looked back to make sure he was right and didnt see anyone in the living room but when he turned back around the lights turned off and at this point, his heart sunk

"Jooyeon this isn't funny, turn the lights back on" Gaon says as he froze. it was pitch black and no one was home except for them two

he didn't get a response and it would be a lie if i said he was trying to act like he wasn't scared even tho he was holding back literal tears of fear

he's been standing in the same position and didn't even budge a move since the lights turned off but suddenly, he felt a pair of hands on his shoulders

he yelled so loud and the tears he was holding back fell right out, he was pretty sure the whole building heard him and thought there was a murderer inside

he thought this would've been the last time anyone saw him until he heard Jooyeon laughing behind him

"are you that scared?" Jooyeon said while literally dying of laughter as he pointed at Gaon and turned on the lights

Gaon wiped away the tears on his cheeks and was so mad he left the popcorn and the counter and went to sit down in the living room

they ended up not watching the movie since not only was Gaon too scared but he was also still mad at Jooyeon

Gunil, Jungsu, Seungmin and Junhan came back together and saw Jooyeon apologising to Gaon while trying not to burst out laughing and Gaon who's tears still haven't stopped flowing

"what happened here?" Gunil asked pretty concerned in what could've made Gaon so mad to the point he cried

Gaon explained in between sobs and ran to his oldest hyung while hugging him and he had Seungmin and Junhan comforting him while laughing a bit and Jungsu scolding Jooyeon while Jooyeon was dying of laughter once again

that night Gaon went to sleep mad at Jooyeon but hey at least he forgave him the next day!
