I laid him on the couch and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. This boy talks a lot. I don't know if it's the effect of alcohol, but... He is cute.

"Hey, do you know Julie?"

Ufff, not the right time to test my patience, sweetheart. You're all alone in the tiger's den.

I handed him the glass. He took it, squinting at it for a moment before placing it on the table with a wobbly hand. I sighed and took a seat beside him on the couch, grabbing the glass from the table.

"I asked you a question, hot man."

Oh, fuck! He thinks I'm hot. I mean, it's obvious, but hearing it from him hits differently.

"I know that girl."

I placed the glass in front of his lips. He clumsily grabbed it and nearly spilled the water before managing to drink some, dribbling a bit down his chin. He wiped his lips on my shirt sleeve, then he leaned on my shoulder holding my arm with his both hands.

"Julie looks good, right?"

Calm down, Aiden. He's just a kid.

"Miles, my love, it's better you stop talking and start sleeping."

I tried to free myself from his grip, but he tightened it, his hand feeling warm and fuzzy against mine.

"She is my friend."

"Miles... Please, take some rest."

"Actually, I lov-"

I pushed his tiny body on the couch, sealing his words with my kiss.

I don't want him to complete that sentence. The intensity of the moment ignited a fire within me, fueled by jealousy and desire, as our lips met.

His response was immediate, his lips responding eagerly to mine before he could utter another word. The intensity of our kiss intensified, consuming us both.

I couldn't help but lose myself in the moment, my jealousy fueling my actions. I grabbed his cheeks together.

What the hell am I doing?

I pushed him away gently, breathless and dizzy with conflicting emotions.

What did I do? Hell no. He drifted into a deep slumber without any clue what I did.

My heart feels like it's going to burst with an overdose of mixed emotions, but if I go deep, regret is nowhere to be found.

I took him in my arms. His figure fit right in. I carried him to my room, tucked him in the blanket, and left the room. Being near him any longer will drown me in passion.
