the ship's doctor

My name is Tessa. Thatch is my older brother by a year. Thanks to him, pops let me join the crew. I decided that I would help the ships doctor, Marco.

"You know you don't have to help me, Tessa." Said Marco

"I know I know," I said, "I want to be helpful in some way."

"And I'm thankful for that." Said Marco

"Hey, sis. Your favorite captain is back." Said Thatch

"Red hair Shanks?" I asked

"Yep. He's talking to pops right now." Said Thatch

I knew that Thatch is trying to make Marco mad. But Shanks is actually here talking to pops. I walk up and in front of everyone. Ace stood next to me.

"What are they talking about?" I asked Ace

"Remember Blackbeard?" Asked

"He's the jerk that almost killed my brother." I said

"Yep. That's who pops and Shanks are talking about." Said Izou

"Tessa, is that you?" Asked Shanks

"Shanks!" I said hugging him

"How's my favorite Whitebeard pirate?" Asked Shanks

"I'm fine." I said blushing

"Still have a crush on the doctor?" Asked Shanks

"Shhhh... Not so loud, Shanks." I said

Shanks laughs while I blushed again. I shuffle my feet when I see Marco walking up. Shanks shoves me and tells me that I should ask him out. I see Ace shove Marco and telling him something. I looked down at the deck of the Moby Dick when Marco walks up.

"Tessa." Says Marco

"Hmmm..." I replied

"You can do it, Marco." Says Ace

"Come on Tessa. Just do it." Says Shanks

"Marco." I said

"Tessa." Says Marco

"Will you go out on a date?" We both asked at the same time

"Marco... Yes!" I said

"Really?" Asked Marco

"Yes, silly." I said

"How? We in the middle of the ocean." Said Marco

"I got an idea," I said, "a dinner date here on deck."

"Really?" Asked Marco

"Yea," I said, "Ace and Thatch can set everything up for us while we get ready."

Ace didn't want to help at first but I begged him to do it. Thatch agreed to do it because I'm his sister and Marco is a close friend. Izou comes to my room help me find something to wear. I find the light blue dress that Marco likes.

"Wow, Tes." Said Izou

"Do you like it?" I asked

"I love it, Tes."

"This is actually Marco's favorite dress."

"I can see why he likes it. It looks good on you, Tes."

"You really think so?"

"Yes I do."

"You're the best Izou."

"I know."

Izou helped me pick out a pair of high heels, a necklace, and some bracelets. I walk onto the deck and see a table set for two. Marco is standing next to the table. He's wearing a suit. He looks at me and his jaw drops. I smiled at him. He pushed me in. Ace brings out the drinks for us.
