The gorgeous redhead ran in front of me, and used his ability to knock the guns out of the lunatics hands. In one swift movement, they were all meeting, face-first to the ground. My face widened. Although I had an ability, his ability was crazy useful! Well I can't waste this time and gotta dilly dally my way! I quickly tried to escape, but he was too fast, grabbing my wrist aggressively.
"So, can you tell me why you were being chased by my subordinates? And why your mute or some shit?"
Oh.. This is bad.. real bad..
I was only trying to come to Yokohama to find out how my parents were assassinated. On orders of my own boss, back in Germany. Of course, because of the person he is, my details were limited to that of the certain area and city– here in Yokohama. Being told to find out for myself, quite a troublesome mission to a degree. But at some point in life, it was my life goal, and mission. The only extra details I was told was to refrain from interaction with the Port Mafia, as they for some reason wanted my ability. Now look at where this mission brought me.."Uh- I was just.. I happened to pass by and they just chased after me... I honestly have no idea what they wanted!" I raised my hands in honesty. Well.. half of that is true...
And then... I fainted.
-
I flutter my eyes awake to see myself in a hospital gown. Did it really get worse? Ogling my eyes all around the room, I find myself in some sort of infirmary, with a nurse running out to get someone– or something. The cuts on my hands burned, as the black ink ran deeper and thicker across my forearm. Nothing would burn as severely as that day, though.Irk spread across my face from the bandages being unwrapped, I got up, harshly grabbed my bag, and ran my fingers through my hair. Finding my syringe, I fill it up with some liquid in my bag before stabbing it right on my forearm, where the black ink ran.
Beginning to limp, I toss some things out of place while trying to support myself. Let's quickly get out of here before I cause a ruckus. And just as I leave-"Where do you think you're going? I don't know who the hell you are, but you owe me an explanation for bringing you here." He glares daggers at me, clearly pissed off at the scene I made earlier. At times like these, I should just act grateful for all he's done.
I bow down in a sign of gratitude, before beginning to thank him. "I thank you for the help I've received, although I am a young woman. I have many people worried about me and my disappearance. I'm sure someone like you of all people would know tha-..."
I fainted.... Again....
Phosphene covering my vision, I wake up to see water, calm. So calm in fact, it seemed outworldly. Everything shattered, all at once before I saw a utopian statue. Everything seemed so lush and beautiful, just before I felt pain aching at my left leg, the one I stabbed a month ago.
Or was it that one? I couldn't walk properly before I fell, face first on an area with vines, my face all bloody and grazed.I touched a flower, it looked similar to a habenaria dentata. Though, all it did was spread more ink through my veins. Gasping for air, I attempted to crawl, but to no avail, failed. My breaths emitted some sort of smoke, and my eyes felt like they were about to pop out of their sockets. Trying to shift and wriggle free, my body felt like bricks weighing out each other.
I gasp and open my eyes, to see the ginger by my side. My breathing pattern was irregular as I looked him in the eyes. He was frowning, elbow on thigh, and his fingers holding his face, deep in thought.
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience... sir" He looked up and saw me with sweat dripping down my forehead.
"Why'd you come all the way from Germany?"
...
Did he look up files about me?"I... have duties to fulfill here. Personal matters, moreover." I looked down with a sour expression. He sighed and looked up, resting his face more. The lines on his forehead resting. That's good for a pretty face like his.
"Is that why you avoided me after I said they were my subordinates? Or at least, attempted to? I definitely know that my boss wants to talk about some personal matters with you. Why are you trying to avoid it? As long as you're in Yokohama, all you're doing is nothing but delaying it."
Composing myself, I internally take a deep breath and swallow my saliva. "I'm well aware. Though I was ordered to refrain from interacting with the Port Mafia. And I'd like to delay it however long I can. Mori is nothing important in my eyes anyway."
His eyes slightly widened, hair disheveled. Most likely from the first-name basis. That's only because I have no regards for some dumb Port Mafia boss that seems like a creep to me. His subordinates and executives do seem quite "respectable" in their own bubble though...
I was basically fangirling over him before I remembered this was a serious conversation. Silly me, ehe. My soft expression shifts to that of a serious one, before I start listening in again.
"I would like to ask why you fainted twice, but then again, that's not information I need." He started doing hot hand poses. God those hands could- okay [name], let's not think of that!
"I think I'll be fine. I just have a condition of some sort. I'll be up and running in a bit. But, if it isn't too much, I have a favor to ask of you."
