That night

Chapter 1

      Oliver is a trans 15 year old, and he and his mom had a close relationship. Until one night something happened... Oliver had gone upstairs to at least try to sleep because he had school the next day his mom had gone to bed too. Around 11pm at night there was a noise downstairs it was the sound of glass breaking...? He dialed 911 quickly because he knew it wasn't his mom...his mom was asleep downstairs, right...? She was a deep sleeper so he knew she didn't wake up till around 7am, or at least usually. He told the 911 operator what happened and the address of his home then a loud "BOOM" and then a scream from downstairs. **** whats going on?

30 minutes later...

"Oliver, its officer Lakely... are you okay?" He usually saw officer Lakely neo on a daily basis. Officer Lakely was a neurodivergent and lgbtqia+ safe officer. Oilver himself had adhd and autism; he had a few other mental health issues, but he was doing pretty well. "Yeah..im fine what happened..? Did something happen to mom?" Oliver said in a questioning sad voice. "I'm sorry kiddo..." Officer Lakely said sadly. "She's gone isn't she..?" Oliver said slowly, opening his door with teary eyes. "Yeah..im sorry kiddo come here" Officer Lakely opens his arms for a hug to try to help "Why would this happen.." Oliver sadly hugged officer Lakely. "Let's go down to the station, bud. Goed is waiting in the car I think. They were checking out everything.They had still been looking for the killer, but they were determined to find him they figured out where he was hiding, the woods..."You might not want to look at the floor or your moms room..." Officer Goed and officer Lakely were dating. The other officers were out looking for the killer there was screams, yells, and gunshots before they finally after 1 and half an hour they found him... they dragged him out of the woods and put him in to the back of the cop car. They knew who it was because he had blood all over him and he had a creepy grin...Officer Goed was nice; they were autistic too. "Okay.." Oliver said quietly Goed was standing at the bottom of the stairs "let's go out the back door.." officer Goed said because there was blood all over the ground Oliver nods. All three of them walk out the back door and go around to the front, there was the person in the back of the cop car with a creepy grin on his face and splatters blood at over him. "Is that him..?" Oilver said with a emotionless voice. "Yeah but you'll be riding with me, officer Lakely over here will be riding with him." Officer Goed said with a slight forced smile. They drove to the police station and the man Mark Davids was put away for life... or was he..?

1 year later...

It was broadcasted on the news that Mark Davids had escaped the prison... and he was after one person and one person only... Oliver smith... Oliver quickly got his stuff together and snuck off into the woods. When he got to the woods he climbed up into his usual tree that he uses for a lot of things reading, relaxing, all that stuff. But he heard a noise and looked towards it as officer Goed, he had been staying with officer Goed and Lakely since the incident. "Kid it's 11pm you can't just run off like that. I know you're scared but you can't just do that. Me and Lakely were worried now, how about we head home and watch tv or something?" Goed said with a sad smile on their face. "Sorry... lets go.." Oliver climbed down and walked towards Goed. Goed put their arm on Oliver's shoulder and they both started to go home. When Goed and Oliver got back Lakely was waiting on the front porch. "Oh thank god!" Lakely said as he ran towards Olive and Goed he hugged both of them and used them both inside "i'm sorry for running off..." Oliver said quietly. "It's okay Oli...." Goed said quietly as they walked in.

2 hours later

Oliver was still up watching a horror movie that he'd put on earlier once the last movie ended. Goed and Lakely had gone to sleep. Oliver soon started to get tired so he laid down on the couch and started to fall asleep. Oliver was nodding in and out of consciousness and he soon fell asleep.

5 hours later

Oliver woke with a startle, Lakely was gently shaking him to wake him up.''woah woah you're okay kid i promise but it's breakfast time." Lakely said with a slight chuckle. "Hm? Oh okay.." Oliver said, yawning. During breakfast there was a loud knock at the door, Lakely said he would go get it... when he opened the door it was him... Mark Davids... "what the **** Do you want?" Lakely asked in a very rude tone which was incredibly weird. "Who's there?" Oliver asked Goed, Goed shrugged not knowing either. "I'm here for the kid." Mark said with a terrifying grin on his face. "No ****ing way. Now leave" Lakely said rudely "aw but i just want to kill him." Mark said, now walking inside the house. " get out." Goed said approaching him "never" Mark said. "Oliver left quickly." Lakely said. Oliver grabbed this bag and left quickly. Mark chased after him, they ran into the woods and Oliver grabbed a blackberry bush stick "now don't be shy Oilver..." they way mark said his name made him shiver. "Back off!" Mark grabbed Oliver from behind and knocked him unconscious but right beforehand Oliver screamed. Officer Goed and Lakely ran towards the scream and found Oliver unconscious on the ground bleeding quite a bit. Lakely dailed nine-one-one and explained the situation and Goed went to go check on Oliver he tried to wake him up but when that didnt work they picked him and started walking toward the house with Lakely close behind him.

2 hours later

Oliver was now in the hospital and had bandages all over he was starting to wake up. "...w-where am i?" he asked with confusion "hey, hey you're okay. You're in the hospital." Goed said, getting up from his chair and walking towards the bed. "Wh-where is Lakely?" Oliver asked looking around a bit "he went to the vending machine to get some candies. He said that he'll be back in ten minutes" Goed said. "Oh... okay" Oliver said very triedly Goed looked at him worried " are you okay, Oliver?" Goed asked "hm...? Yeah I'm fine" Oliver said, staring off into space. "Guess who back and brought candyyyyy!" Lakely said, bursting through the door. "Hmm I wonder who?????" Goed said in a joking tone. "Look who's up!" Lakely said, looking at Oliver. "G'morning at least it feels like morning." Oliver said "Yeah it's morning you were out for like the whole day kid, you okay?" Lakely said. Oliver looked at lakely and said "Mhm im fine just a bit tired". "Damn kid you're tired you slept the entire day!" Goed said with a laugh. They all started laughing at that. "Welp you should get some more rest then don't worry we'll be here when you wake up." Lakely said before sitting down in a chair by a window that had a wonderful view of the city. "Yeah yeah fine" Oliver said.
