Twilight's Touch is a 200 word Snap Shot writing piece written for a contest. Although it wasn't the main piece I worked on, it surprisingly got 3rd place. :)
If you're REALLY bored and need to kill time, take 2 minutes to read this, haha...

Staring out into the vast sparkling waves of the water, I pondered about the last few days. While inhaling a deep briny breath from the cooling wind, I caught a hint of the foul scent of regret. I didn’t want to leave this peaceful domain in life. It was a magical relaxing paradise, but it would all end shortly. Gripping the cold icy glass of tropical punch in my hands, tears came streaming down my face. Ripples formed in the crimson liquid as the salty drops of lament gracefully rolled off my rosy cheeks. The sunset’s last shining rays of light shimmered on the various colored glass windows surrounding me. A vibrant rainbow appeared on the sidewalks, showering the tourists with a cheerful embrace.
The soft rolls of the ocean calmed my restless mind, but it couldn’t stop my heart from aching in such pain. Hoping I could stay here forever, I looked up to the white soft clouds in the scarlet painted sky. I prayed to the heavens above, so dearly wishing. But, deep down inside, I knew that wouldn’t happen. I slowly turned away from the pane, not looking back to that scene of nostalgia.
Farewell ... my dreams
