The return of Billy Black to La Push stirred a whirlwind of emotions within the Quileute tribe. For weeks, he had been away, tending to tribal matters in distant lands, but now he was back, his presence a balm to the wounded hearts of his people.
But as Billy settled back into the rhythms of life in La Push, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. His son, Jacob, had been distant and withdrawn since his return, his usual easy smile replaced by a haunted look in his eyes.
And so, when Sam and the rest of the pack approached Billy with news of Jacob's whereabouts, Billy knew that it was time to face the truth once and for all.
, the pack set out into the woods, their footsteps echoing in the stillness of the night. They found Jacob where they had expected him to be, alone in the clearing where he often sought solace from the chaos of the world.
Jacob's eyes widened in surprise as the pack descended upon him, their expressions of concern
What the heck happened Jacob why the hell are you avoiding the pack you haven't even been going to training were not taking no for a answer your coming with us and your going to explain sam spoke up first
And so, with a heavy heart, Jacob annoyance he had literally been kidnapped
As Jacob stood before the pack, the weight of their expectant gazes pressing down upon him like a leaden shroud, he knew that he could no longer hide from the truth. With a heavy sigh, he began to speek in a low voice "I imprinted on Edward Cullen" was all he said
The pack listened in stunned silence as Jacob spoke,
Ha good joke paul said laughing
Umm Paul I don't think he's joking Jared said as he looks a now very depressed looking Jacob
Holy shit he actually imprinted on a leech does that mean your now madly inlove with Cullen huh leah said while laughing
"No it doesn't mean I'm flipping inlove with Edward Leah "Jacob says annoyed
With grim determination, Sam stepped forward, his voice steady despite the storm of emotions raging within him. "We must speak with the Cullens," he declared, his words carrying the weight of a final verdict.
What the hell do you mean we have to speak to the Cullens Jacob stood from his seat
"It means exactly that Jacob you do understand that if he rejects you even mistakenly this could cause your death a slow painful death and the withdrawal from not being near your imprint will soon occur "Billy says
Faced with the final reality of the matter Jacob could feel the matter fully dawns on him he could actually die with a sigh he sat back down looking just as depressed as before.
