The things I never knew...

Chapter 2

I'm standing right next to her, then all the sudden I find myself in her giant in-ground pool. I come up out of the water breathing heavily from the shock.
"Chris! Who do you think you are?! Why did you push me in?!"
I stare at her for a little bit. She's laughing hysterically. She's genuinely laughing. After a few minutes of trying to pout and stay mad at her, I start to laugh along with her.
Little did she know that I was slowly moving to pull her in with me. I grab her hand and pull on her arm. She comes flying into the pool and into the water.
After a few seconds she comes up out of the water and stares at me and tried to glare. But there's a playful shimmer in her eyes.
I try to get away, but I was too slow. All the sudden she's on my back and pretending to ride me like I'm a horse. I go down under water and she finally gets off of me.
I come out of the water breathing heavily. I lay there, floating on top of the water. Taking deep breaths. I close my eyes and let the sun warm me up from the cold water.
Then I feel soft hands on my back. I sigh in contentment and lean closer to the person touching me.
I slowly open my eyes and look at Chris staring down at me. I quickly get away from her and start to get out of the pool.
"Skylar? Skylar! Sky get back here! Did I do something wrong?!"
I continue to walk away from her and into her house. No one is ever home so it's okay I guess. I grab my bag and I open her front door. Then I look back and see her getting out of the pool and running towards me. I walk out of the door and slam it shut.
"I'm sorry Chris..." I whisper and then walk away from her house.
