𝑨𝑹𝒀𝑨'𝑺 𝑷𝑶𝑽 :
"What do you mean by I am getting married" I asked my parents loudly. Today at morning we all gathered for breakfast. My parents told me that they wanted to talk something important.

What they told me was enough to make me shocked. What the hell they mean by that? Iam not intrested in marriage.

"Arya calm down it was already decided. Your papa and Shikhawat uncle are very close friends and he is also a good guy. He is a successful businessman. What is the problem?" Mama said.

"But I didn't even know him. You should have asked me once before saying yes" I said in frustrated voice.

"They send a proposal for you. They are nice people and take care of you. That's why we said yes and you also shouldn't have any exception with it" Papa said.

"But I didn't want to marry him or anyone else" I said in a harsh tone.

"Keep your voice low in front of elders and don't act as a child. You are 25 now. It's your age to get married and you are getting married to Mr. Shikhawat's son in just 2 days and it's final. No more discussion"Dadu ordered in an angry voice.

"What? In just 2 days" Tears kept flowing from my eyes and I just ran to my room and locked myself.

I started music and started dancing my heart out because dance is the only thing that gives me relief.

How can they do this to me? Marrying me to a stranger in just 2 days. They didn't even think about me once. Am I burden on them? They didn't let me finish my studies because I am a girl and according to them girls shouldn't study they should only do household work.

And now they are marrying me to a stranger. I just feel like I was cursed to be born in this house. Always there are so many restrictions for me to follow. Why? because I am a girl. I just hate them. I hate everyone in this house. Tears kept flowing from my eyes. I felt my legs weaken and I fell on the ground.

I am like a bird who wanted to fly high but was locked in prison.

"Arya open the door. Arya, Please beta open the door. Arya....." I heard a voice before getting unconscious.

I was lying on the bed and Mama was sitting beside me."What happened to her?" Mama asked the doctor who was checking me.

"Nothing much worry, she fainted because of stress. Don't give her stress, she will be perfectly fine" Doctor said before leaving with Papa.

"Beta, why are you taking so much stress?" Mama said."You are asking me"I rolled my eyes. "Just once meet him you will definately like him" She said. "But Mama..." She didn't let me complete my sentence.

"Today 4 pm at the cafe" Mama said before going out of my room.

"What?..."

𝑨𝑼𝑻𝑯𝑶𝑹'𝑺 𝑷𝑶𝑽:
The whole Shikhawat family was settled at the dining table discussing about Arya. Reyansh and Vihaan will also be joining them for breakfast.

Vihaan is also like Reyansh to them. They love both of them equally and they have known Arya for a long time. They like her as their daughter-in-law. According to them, she can make him believe again in love.

"I like her she is so sweet and pretty" Reva said about Arya while her family agreed with her.

"Who is pretty?" Vihaan said entering the dining room with Reyansh and taking a seat.

Shikhawat family looked at their elder son, who took seat beside Vihaan.

"Is you are talking about the girl you selected for a Reyansh?" Vihaan said and soon realized his words.

𝑹𝑬𝒀𝑨𝑵𝑺𝑯'𝑺 𝑷𝑶𝑽:
"What? Maa, what is he saying?" I asked not believing my ears."Yes beta, he is saying right, we have selected a girl for you" she said.

"How can you do this? You know that I am not interested in marriage nor i believe in love" I yelled.

"Calm down, we know Beta but she is nice girl. She is pretty, sweet, kind" Papa said."But I don't want to get married nor iam interested in it. I won't marry anyone" I said getting up from my chair.

"She is not gone from your mind. You still miss her that's why you are not marrying" Maa said.

"No I don't miss her" I said in my cold tone.

"What do you think, you will say no and we will agree. No beta, we know the pain you are hiding. How long will you remember her? She is gone Reyansh. You have to move on" Maa said with concern.

"Sorry Maa, Papa I can't do this, I can't marry anyone" I said with a cold voice my fist clenched due to anger.

Mom had tried to talk about marriage, I always used to ignore the topic but this time...this time, they had directly stood a girl in front of me.

I started walking when "For my sake marry her"I heard a voice. "But maa..." I tried to speak but she cut me "Beta please agree tomorrow is your engagement"

"What?" It was not less for them that they had given me one more shock.

"Everything is already decided. We didn't inform you because you never wanted to marry anyone but we are your parents we wanted you to settle" Tears filled in Maa's eyes.

"How long are you planning to be this way? We can't see you like this. We want our old Reyansh back" Papa said.

By the end, Maa was crying badly. Papa was seeing me with worried eyes and Vihaan was looking helpless.

I know I have changed myself completely and that's hurting my family but I can't help it, I have made myself like a stone.

I went towards Maa and wiped her tears. I can't see them like that. "Please agree for this marriage Reyansh"Papa requested.

I sighed."Okay I will marry, please no more crying"

"Thank you beta" A smile crept on her lips.

"She will be waiting for you today 4 pm at the cafe" Maa said.

Standing on the balcony, I was thinking about all the things happening in my life. I know, my parents did not listen to me. I have to agree for this marriage.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice when vihaan entered the balcony. There was concern in his eyes."Are you okay Reyansh?" he asked. I just nodded my head too angry to reply."Will you meet her?" he asked."I have to" I replied.
