My first day!

It was your first day at the job and you pulled up to the check-in site with your vehicle, You stepped out and opened the door to a man standing there and hyperventilating, you reached your hand out to the man, he looked at you and snared he backed up, He would yell

" ARE YOU WITH THEM?!?! "

I was confused, Who is them? And why is he scared.

" Sir who is them? "

I would ask with a soft tone, The man started to calm down, He held His chest and started to breathe slowly.

" Are- You the new transfer lookout.? "

I would smile with pride and respond to the man

" Why yes I am! I was transfered from the one in that other town, I was transfered pretty urgently. Apparently the last Guy who was here quit? Don't know why. "

The man sat up finally and cracked His back with a groan, He grabbed the key's for the Transfer.

" You work at tower 11, Make sure to keep a fire going it gets pretty cold up there, And always make sure to close the Boards before going to bed, You don't want anything looking in! "

I let off a nervous chuckle, I started to sweat, Why would something look inside the tower, And what would look inside the tower, I grabbed the key's from the man trying not to drop them, I stuffed the Key's into My pocket and started to make my way out, i shut the door behind myself, i started to walk down the trail and saw a table, There was a light on it! I grabbed the light and turned it on, it Shined into the forest, The trees screeched in the wind as I walked by them, I felt uneasy walking in these woods, something just didn't feel right Here who was that man talking about, And why was he scared, And what would look into my window at night?, Thoughts kept running through my head as i kept walking down the path.

I soon Hit a sign saying " Lookout tower 11" I looked up to the large tower and my body shivered, thoughts of what he said running through my head, I went down the path to the tower and finally made it, i saw a generator, i flipped a switch to turn it on, it started to rev and I jumped a little, I sighed and made my way up the tower, I pushed the key into the lock and turnrd it, I opened the door and pulled the key out putting it into my pocket, I entered and closed the door behind me locking it out of paranoia, I let a shakey breathe as i listened to the tree branches screech in the wind outside, I would soon look over to the fridge a smile lit up on my face, I went over to the fridge and Opened it, There was rotten Pasta... Lasagna? It smelled horrible, I picked it up and dumped it into the trash, I pinched my nose from the smell,

I then remembered I had to do a report, I started to walk over to the computer and sign in! It required a code, The man didn't tell me any code?? I looked over to the radio because I heard 5 loud beeps, I clicked on it confused a man started talking through

" ???: I repeat this is tower 12, I repeat "

I repsonded

" this is tower 11, Names Y/N "

While I waited for a response I messed with in my pocket I then saw a Peice of paper, I grabbed a pen and started to scribble all over it making different shape's and sized, I started to make animals out of the shapes, The man then responded

" C: Name's Connor, did you light yourself a fire yet? It gets cold here at night "

" No I.. haven't yet "

" C: Well you should get to that, There should be wood in the Shed outside, and gasoline by the Fire stove "

I stood up out of the chair and started to make my way out, I opened the door and made my way down the stairs, I heard whistling and it wasn't the wind, I looked around shining my flashlight all around but nothing, the whistling got louder, I ran to the shed and grabbed the wood, I started to run up to the tower again, the whistling got closer and my hair stood on end my heart felt like it was going to explode from how fast it was beating, I finally made my way into the tower and I closed the door behind myself and locked it, the whistling stopped, my heart started to calm down and I huffed, i looked over to the fire stove, I walked over and placed wood inside I then grabbed the gasoline and poured it into the fire stove, I lit it up it made a loid woosh sound, the room started to feel alot warmer

" C: i See that you lit the fire? I see the smoke, Anyways I'm gonna get some rest new guy, you probably should to, Tower 12 signing off. "

I nodded and smiled nervously, I looked over to my bed and sat down, I layed down and started to get cozy, I let off a shakey breath and started to drift off to sleep.
