*************************************************Walking in streets full of clutter. Soyurin's hands were in his pocket. Familiar. Accepting. His auntie had just revoked his identification card. Defeat was in his bones. A sad smile was on his face, but there was nothing to do but accept it.
A woman gawking pointed out. She seemed excited. Jumping up and down, the woman in jeans was animated, while another one was more quiet. '...He'd never talk to me...' The one seemed to be in swirly glasses. She was even chewing some gum. Pop. Out of the corner of Soyurin's eye, he could see the bubble burst.
The utility would be his weapon. Outside tools were useless, unobtainable. A woman, trusted, proved to be just another Aquarius. Limiting his growth.
Escaping his 'cell', often time was spent exploring. Unless you had an identification card, the paths were limited. Only the cafeteria didn't require identification at the gate. Head low, walking among the giants, Soyurin would overhear conversations.
One in particular about a man trying to get inside his station, being unable to even open the door because his card was missing. And another one who tried to slip in while a co-worker was coming inside. Alarms blasted on. Quickly scrambling, Soyurin saw that same man being grilled for unauthorized access, even though he was supposed to be stationed there.
'.....So the scope of a precept determines it's possible strength...' Combination precepts were obviously weaker than installed precepts.
[Correct, Soyurin.] The delay within was silent. The minimum response to fulfill it. Soyurin 'had' requested a response. She had to deliver something, or her own 'being' would be diminished somehow.
Strategically deciding when to be diminished, and when to surrender. Every day was a constant battle with the demon she inhabited to stay in control.
The further the distance, the more 'cost' must be present. The longer duration, the more power, the more capability. There must also be a minimum. Eyes gleaming crimson gazed up.
Suppression. The problem of suppression. It meant control. Others had control over your life. A person with no control, was someone suppressed. Swirling within that globe of air, seeing that world, finally he began to comprehend the origin of waveform.
The intelligence that emerged from time to time.
Naturally, Soyurin had never been under a delusion his waves weren't intelligent. Somehow, innately, he always knew that the waves had a mind of their own. That there were thoughts in those wisps of air.
He wasn't even surprised when he awoke in Mu. Almost feeling completely at home. As if he had always been there. As if he was 'supposed' to be there. The outfit, immaculate, but felt right.
The only truly alien thing in there was the strange face looking in. Wide, distorted with a creepy voyeuristic energy.
Consciousness.
The in between state from being fully awake and fully asleep. Emissions. Flowing out of his body, upward towards a large mechanical device rooted to the roof of Central.
It covered the entire Central ceiling, in fact. Only the walls and floor were white. Everything else was black high above. No matter where he went, a wave would be sucked right upward, as if the entire ceiling could receive a wave.
