I know I know I'm like a 3 month late but here is it

Lauren's point of view

"When you come up onto the stage, I want you to say your name, Your homeroom teacher and the part you're trying out for." Said Mrs. Davis "Remember we're doing the play Les Misérables"

"I'm so going to ace this audition." I say to my best friend Olivia (Liv)

"I know you are. You are like so amazing when you act" she said

"What do you mean like?" I said with a prickly voice. "Are you saying I'm not good at acting?"

"NO! Absolutely not!" She said in a rushed voice.

"Good. I would so give up on our friendship if you ever told me I was terrible at anything."I said in a sassy voice. "Now wish me luck, I'm going up next."

"Good luck I guess." She said in a snarky remark.

"Whatever." I said flipping my golden blond locks over my shoulder as I walked onto the stage.

"Name, Homeroom teacher, and the part you're trying out for" Mrs. Davis said

"Lauren Carter, Mrs. Brian, and Cosette"

"Okay, Lauren begin when ready."

"Just so you know, I'll be singing the song Halo by Beyoncé"

"Okay Mrs. Carter. You can start now"

"Ahem. Remember those walls I built? Well, they're tumbling down

And they didn't even put up a fight. They didn't even make a sound

I found a way to let you in But, I never really had a doubt

 Standing in the light of your halo I've got my angel now"

Now I knew this was the was the high part. I looked at the audience

"It's like I've been awakened every rule I had you breaking

It's the risk that I'm taking I ain't never gonna shut you out."

Right then and there my voice cracked!

The faces in the audience looked frightened by the screeching of my voice.

I felt ashamed

The smirk on Liv's face made me want to run her over with a school bus.

Sophia,  a girl right next to her started to chuckle, I gave her my coldest death stare and she immediately stopped.

Then Mrs. Davis asked if I had another song to sing and everyone in the audience started to boo 

I started to walk off towards the step of the stage when Justin Wakeman yelled out, "Looks like the only thing the talent is really good at is being horrible at singing"

Everyone started cracking up and laughing and I just stood there and took it. Finally I had enough. I went back onto the stage and I said, "STOP" 

"Get off of that stage right now Mrs. Carter!" Said Mrs. Davis

"But. I'm. Not. Done.!" I said in an aggravated voice

"Get off now or get detention!"

"You can't give me detention your just an old drama teacher getting minimum wage!"

"That's it! DETENTION!"

"Whatever, you old bat." I whispered under my breath

"Would you like double detention"

"No" I said in a sarcastic voice

"Good." she said  "And don't expect to get any part in this play"

"uhhh!" I say as I storm out of the room and slam the door behind me.

I hope you like this new part about Lauren

I know I'm so late with this new part it's been like 4 months

It's been very hectic since the summer started

I'll try to update once a week but I can't make any promises
