Clingy Tim Bradford

It was around four in the morning when Tim woke up shivering and a pounding headache, he slowly got out of bed and walked into his kitchen to get some pain medication.

Once he took it, he went back to bed and went back to sleep until his alarm went off and went to work. He gets there safely but once he gets there, he is dizzy and sweating.

"Bradford are you okay?" asked Angela "Yeah all go-" but before he could finish what he was saying he felt the urge to throw up, so he ran to the bathroom and threw everything in his stomach up.

Once he was done throwing up, he left the bathroom and saw Lucy walking past. "Ready to go out on patrol?" "Yes sir."

The day was going by pretty smoothly, he let her drive because he knew there was a chance he would throw up again, due to the fact that he hadn't been eating.

Lucy didn't know the fact he wasn't eating but she knew that his behavior that day was strange but decided not to question him as she didn't want him to get annoyed.

"Pull over" she didn't ask why she just did as she was told, once she safely pulled over, he immediately jumped out of the shop and once again threw up. "You okay Bradford?" It took him a minute to respond.

"All good Chen, go back to the shop and give me a minute." She just looked at him and thought about whether she should stay close or do as he say. "Yes sir".

Once he was back in the shop, they continued their shift like nothing happened. They finished their shift with no issues. It was now the end of shift, and they were clocking out and going to get changed.

While Lucy was getting changed, she decided to go and speak to Angela and Nyla to see if they had noticed Tim's strange behavior. "Hey guys, do you know what's wrong with Bradford? "Well we were speaking this morning, and he ran off to go to the bathroom in the middle of his sentence, I'm guessing he went to throw up." "Oh gosh, Okay thank you!"

Lucy just assumed that he probably just had a bad night sleep or something he ate the night before and then thought nothing of it.

Meanwhile with Tim, he has been struggling with the fact that Genny has been blaming him for the abuse that their father inflicted on him as a child. This all started because she wanted him to speak about their father, but he immediately shut down her questions with a firm no. He hated what his dad did to him and always feared that he was similar to him, even though he wasn't.

Tim has been drinking almost daily, to try and attempt to take away the fear of trauma that he had been carrying around with him since he was a young child.

Nobody knew of his urge to drink because he usually tried to avoid personal life conversations with anyone. He has been suffering from severe panic attacks and would just sit there breathless till he passed out. He knew it wasn't healthy, but he couldn't bring himself to tell anyone about it, so he just kept everything to himself.

He had been drinking most of the night until he eventually passed out. That was until he didn't show up to work the next morning because he slept right through his alarm.

Sergeant Grey was confused on why Tim didn't show up because he hadn't called yet to explain why he wasn't going to be there. Eventually the roll call had finished, and he still hadn't shown up. Once everyone left the room, Grey pulled Lucy aside to speak with her, "Is there a problem sir?" "Not that I know of, but Sergeant Bradford hasn't shown up yet today and he hasn't called to explain his absence." Lucy started to worry because of the way he acted the day before during their shift. "Would you like me to go do a welfare check on him sir?" Sergeant Grey nodded as he answered, "Yes please Officer Chen."
