He Fell First, But I Fell Harder

I woke up the next morning to my alarm, I got out of my bed I stretched and then went into the bathroom. I want to wash my face and brush my teeth Y'know the normal stuff to do. I then walked back into my room feeling a bit more alive and my phone was buzzing. I then looked at it to see that it was Isaac, I then called him, we face timed as we got ready, I did simple makeup and then I picked out clothes from my dresser, I was wearing this :

I went off of the frame of the camera I then changed and he did the same. my mum then comes upstairs and knocks my door, she then says "morning sweetheart, your dad just finished making you pancakes. I'm off to shower, oh morning Isaac" Isaac then says through the phone "morning Liz" (her name was Elizabeth but she preferred Liz) i then look over at Isaac and say "I'm going to get breakfast okay?" He then nods at the phone and then he says "see you later, Rie" this was always Isaac's nickname for me, it was cute so I just never questioned it. And it's just stuck. I then say "see you later" I then blow a kiss at the camera and end the call. I then head downstairs.

I ate my breakfast, my brother (Wyatt) then came down, he quickly began and finished eating his pancakes. He then says "come on, I'm driving to school" I then say "okay." We got into the car and he said "no Isaac?" He seemed confused since sometimes we give Isaac a ride. I then shook my head and we drove to the school.

We got to the school and I got a text from Isaac saying to meet at our usual spot. I then liked the message and headed over to our spot. When I got there he still wasn't there or at least I thought, he then came out from the side and said "hey Rie" I then smiled at him, I then walked over to him and hugged him. He hugs me back. We then began talking, he was telling me about how he's having a new person living with him soon and how much he's honestly dreading it.

I told him to "liven up a little the girl could be fun?" And he just shrugs at me. The bell then rang so we both went off to our first lesson. Isaac walked me to my first lesson which was math, once we got there I thanked him for walking me to the lesson and he just smiled at me.

The lesson dragged, I took a few notes but it was overall just a boring lesson. Once it was over I packed up all my stuff and then I saw Isaac walk outside the classroom waiting for me, I then walked over to him and he once again walked me to my lesson, this time we had the same lesson. It was Chemistry. I hated chemistry, I don't know why it was just so boring and it just wasn't easy either. It was known to both me and Isaac as my nap lesson.

We sat in the classroom for a maximum of 10 minutes and I already had my head resting on my desk, this didn't bother Isaac since he was playing with my hair, he does that sometimes. It's nice, it's relaxing for both me and him I think. I slowly drifted off to sleep.

I woke up later that lesson and Isaac then says "morning beautiful" I knew he was only messing around, we always did it. I then rolled my eyes and said "good morning Isaac." The teacher then says to us, "Valerie, Isaac if you're going to send the whole lesson flirting with one another I will move one of you" I then looked at the teacher then at Isaac and then me and him just burst out into laughter.

----time skip it's now after school----

It was finally the end of school, Just as I was about to leave my class once again I saw Isaac, I walked over to him and then asked if he wanted to stay at my house tonight. We always have sleepovers together, it wasn't weird either. He stays over that often and I stay over his that we even have stuff for ourselves round each other's houses.

He then says "yeah, let me just ask Katherine" he then texts Katherine and she gives us the okay for him to stay. He then says that he's allowed and we then head over to Wyatt's car and he drives us home. Me and Isaac spent the whole car journey talking about how much we wanted pizza. Sounds stupid I know but it was true.

When we got to my house we all got out of the car and then I and Isaac went straight up to my room. We both take off our shoes and then we lay on my bed together scrolling through netflix. I lay there with my head on his chest and my arms wrapped around his chest, He has his arms around my body too. This was normal for us, even though some may say we're too friendly to just be friends but it's true, we're only friends.

After scrolling through netflix for a while we found a series we hadn't seen yet, we put it on. It was stranger things, we watched about 2 episodes and then it was getting dark outside.

We decided to then order pizza since my mum and dad weren't going to be back until late since they were working, Wyatt also had pizza. We all sat downstairs and ate. I then went over to the kitchen and made everyone drinks, I had water and Wyatt and Isaac had lemonade. I then carried all the drinks into us individually. We sat there for a while just continuing our conversation. Me and Isaac then head up to my room to get ready for bed.

I shower, I do my skin care and then brush my teeth. I then get into these pyjamas :

Isaac had changed into plaid pyjamas bottoms and had taken off his shirt. Once I was done in the shower he then brushed his teeth and washed his face.

I brushed my hair and put it in a braid so it wasn't all over the place. Me and Isaac then get into my bed, even though I had a double bed it was still much nicer cuddling with one another. I had my head on his chest and my arms around his body. He was playing and twirling my hair. We didn't have anything on the TV since we were going to sleep, but the silence also was awkward, it was nice.

Eventually I fell asleep on him. And he followed not long after too.
