August POV
Once I pulled the blind fold off, baby girl was speechless. I had a few connections so I decided to get the beach reserved just for us. I had it nicely decorated with rose petals leading us to the table. I pulled Adrianna's chair out for her to sit. She still wasn't saying anything so I decided to start talking.
"So baby do you like what you see?"
"Oh babe I love what I see. This is beautiful thank you August."
"No problem bae you deserve it." We looked into each other eyes and I grabbed her hand into mine and kissed it.
She looked at me with tears in her eyes. I was confused because I really didn't understand why she was crying.
"Why you crying bae. What's wrong talk to me?" I asked looking worried.
"Nothings wrong. Everything is just right. I'm so glad to be with you. These are tears of joy babe. God has blessed me with a perfect man and I thank him for that." She said wiping her tears.
"Awe thank u bae. You don't even know how happy I was when you said yes. In due time, hopefully you'll be saying yes again to marry me. I love you girl and I don't ever want to lose you."
"You won't lose me babe and I love you too."
We continued to laugh and talk and enjoy our food. We walked along the beach hand in hand. It was 1:00 in the morning so we decided to leave.
Adrianna POV
It was now 1 in the morning and we finally decided to leave. I had to text Anika and tell her I was spending the night at August house.
Text Convo:
Me: Hey mom I'm spending the night at August house. I'll see you tomorrow goodnight love you
Mommy Dearest: Okay babygirl. If yall do anything be sure to use protection. I love you too sweety have fun.
Convo Over.
I laughed to myself reading the message. I swear I love that woman. She treats me as if I'm her own. If she didn't take the position of being my mother, when my dad passed I don't know where I would be. Her and August are the only two people I have left. If something were to happen to them I don't know what I would do. Those are two people that I really truly love and I know they love me too
I was snapped out of my thoughts when August called my name.
" Earth to Adrianna." He said waving his hands in my face.
"Yea babe wassup." I said
"Did you text mom and let her know your spending the night with me?"
"Yes I just texted her."
"Okay then let's be out." He said.
We walked to the car and he opened the door for me and jogged to the other side and hopped in. As he drove I stared out the window. Tonight was perfect. I would love to have another perfect night with the love of my life. As I continued to think about tonight I found myself drifting off to sleep. I let my sleep take over me.
