Estelle Odette Fontaine
She's been doing ballet since she was able to walk unlike her twin sister, her mother was an elite ballerina before she died in a tragic plane crash accident and lets just say that Estelle had huge shes to fill as a Fontaine..
But she did it, and she thrived. She was perfect. You could ask anyone in her class and they'd say the same- in fact she was the best ballerina they'd ever seen in their entire life, maybe even better than her mother.
Estelle sighs in relief as she gets off the plane from New York to Paris, she was raised in France before her father decided to move to New York.. a fresh start and now that Adeline had been accepted.
....
"Welcome to École d'opéra de ballet! Home of ballet dancers, my name is Margot Dubois but students call me Madam Dubois" The tall, slim, raven haired woman introduces as she takes quick yet graceful strides as she tours the family of three.
"Be careful, i heard there has been several murder cases in this ballet school" Estelle's sister, Adeline whispers.
Adeline and Estelle were polar opposites.
Estelle was the perfect child, her room was perfect, her hair, her everything. She worked hard, never made mistakes and if she did she'd repeatedly work on that one turn, pose, landing, ect. Estelle was a soft and gentle girl, and had the typical ballerina style.. you know- pink, white and any other gentle color you could name.
Whilst Adeline was a carefree girl with more of a.. skater style, her hair wasn't in a tight, slick back bun like Estelle's, instead it was always down or in a messy bun. Adeline did ballet but she stopped after her mother could no longer teach her which was when the twins were only ten years old..
The only thing the twins had in common was their luscious, blonde hair they got from their mother and their slim figure.
"This will be Adeline and Estelle's dorm room" Madam Dubois smiles and Adeline's expression drops.
"uh- there must be a mistake.. I'm not a ballerina- I don't have the right outfits for those things" Adeline turns to her father who purses his lips showing he knew.
"je suis désolé chérie" (I'm sorry sweetie) "but, I have work 24/7 now so I want you to stay here- maybe you'll find passion in ballet again, and you can borrow Estelle's clothes- she has plenty" Their father plants a kiss on both the girls' heads before leaving them to unpack as he spoke with Madam.
Estelle gulps as she glanced over at her twin who was furious, they both copped with the death of their mother differently.. Estelle kept going on with ballet, since she felt a connection with her mother whenever she did whilst Adeline.. was a walking hurricane.
"Here" Estelle hands her an outfit for tomorrow and Adeline shoots her a quick smile before taking it.
Estelle didn't mind, she always had a good relationship with her older sister, by only a minute.. as Estelle turns away Adeline felt the need to speak up about one thing she was afraid this mysterious school might do.
"uh- Stellie" Adeline's voice was barely above a whisper which was rare, yet Estelle still heard due to how silent the room was "yes?" she perks up.
"Can I ask something.. it's more of a request actually" Adeline walks up to her sister who had just finished making her bed.
"Sure" Estelle smiles re-assurringly at her twin sister "promise me that you won't act like you don't know me when we start school in a couple hours" Adeline felt so weak asking this and she hated it..
"I would never- Adeline you're my sister" Estelle takes a small step closer to Adeline "how about I help you- right now, I could teach you a thing or two" Estelle suggests as she nods for Adeline to get changed.
"okay, yeah, perfect" Adeline sighs in relief as she enters the dorm room bathroom whilst Estelle changes on her side of the room.
