"The blazing wings of dawn spirited me away. Dragon-swift above the suns-rise. Flying to my destiny beyond the clouds." - Marc Secchia

"We must send support to House Bracken in the Riverlands," Helaena stated to the council. "If House Bracken is to fall, we will lose our last supporter in the Riverlands."

"Helaena makes a fair point. Does anyone have any suggestions on what should be done about it?" Aegon asked, looking to Grand Maester Orwyle, to Tyland Lannister, Jasper Wylde, his grandfather, Otto Hightower, Hand of the King, and then to his mother, Dowager Queen Alicent Hightower.

"What if I were to ride on Dreamfyre to the Riverlands?" Helaena suggested.

"That is out of the question," Aegon retorted immediately.

"Aegon," Helaena said softly. "You cannot sideline me. Dreamfyre and I are just as important and useful to winning this war as you and Sunfyre, Aemond and Vhagar, and Daeron and Tessarion. I am not just going to sit back as the damned Blacks decimate our forces," Helaena said angrily.

"She is right, Your Grace," Tyland cuts in. "If we are to win this war, we must use all assets available to us. You and Sunfyre, Prince Aemond and Vhagar, Prince Daeron and Tessarion, and even Queen Helaena and Dreamfyre."

Aegon looked at Tyland and then to Helaena before sighing. "You're right, you're right."

"Aegon, you cannot be serious. You would send your wife to fight?" Alicent bursted out, trying to reason with Aegon, leaning forward in her chair.

"Mother. Helaena and Tyland are right. We cannot sideline her. We have four dragons at our disposal. It is paramount that we use each and every one of them. If we want to win this war, we must, Mother. I would not consider it otherwise," Aegon explained.

"Alicent," Otto called. "Ultimately, it is his decision to make."

Alicent sighed, sitting back in her chair. "Yes, Father, you're right."

"Alright then, it is decided. Helaena will fly with Dreamfyre to the Riverlands to aid House Bracken. We will send some troops after her to aid in keeping control of Stone Hedge and the lands surrounding it," Aegon declared.

"Meeting adjourned," Aegon spoke, ending the Small Council meeting.
