The water is so deep.
I don't even have to be in to see that. I looked at my reflection through the bleach covered pool. It never felt right. I was there, just in the water.
" Let's go may. I didn't book this family vacation for nothing." My mom states. I walk down the warm wooden steps to see our hotel. Old, rusty, broken. Is this really all that Mum could afford?
We walk into the hotel, smells like cheap plastic.
"Hi I'm Shannon, how may I help you today?"
"Yeah, we would like a room key. we have a reservation."
Shannon gave us the room key and went back to work.

room 505, nine twenty-eight am. Our room is so conveniently beside the pool. Mother knows I don't like pools so I dunno why she would book a room just to pain me.
"We need you to get more comfortable with water" she would say, but that made it even more uncomfortable.
"may! Henry!" my mom yells from the other room
"I want you two to have sibling bonding time," she said as she handed us each 10 bucks.
"Kay," I said as I grabbed Henry's hand and walked out.
"Sissy! Sissy!" Henry yelled. "I wanna go to the corner store! They always have yummy treats there."
And so, like that, we spent our money and walked home. Henry bought a unicorn,he named it Jr.

"Look at Jr! He's so cute." my brother exclaimed as he played outside near the pool.
"Yep.." I said whilst looking into the deep pool. It was cold and foggy.
Suddenly, I hear a splash. My eyes dart to Henry to see him in the pool with Jr.
"May!" He is getting dragged by a force from the bottom of the pool.
I jump in and take Henry out as fast as I can before the force drags Me down too.
But I was too late. I felt something grab my foot and pull me under. I try using all my strength and swimming back up, but no luck. 5 feet under I can hear Henry scream for me but all I can do is watch him now.
