{More the Shadows,more the secrets}

                         Daphnis x oc

-Third person pov💭

Daphnis was walking down the streets of a city new to him,Rome so the capital city of Italy.He went there because a client asked his assitance for something and couldn't move from their city.Daphnis in fact was a private detective with special abilities because he could hear people's shadows that told secrets and truths of people.

Daphnis now took a bus to go to his client house,as he got there and knocked the door noticed that other than the person that opened the door there was someone else.

His client was a girl that wanted to know something about her lost friend and the thing was actually simple if wasn't for the guy next to his client.

It was a good-looking guy for sure and he was even cold but seemed nice a bit as well.The shadow of this guy was towering over the one of the girl but the stranger fact was that the guy didn't have just one shadow but at least five or even more.

The shadows were talking all togheter,it was a overwhelming feeling to Daphnis since he couldn't find the one of the girl and then find the answer to the girl's answers to the point he had to move with an excuse to the bathroom and break down.

His back was leaned to the wall of the bathroom,his head between his hands and cried,he was exhausted but even curious.He wanted to know what that mysterious guy was hiding and why he didn't talk with anyone about those things.

As he was sitting on the floor someone opened the door and rushed down to him.It was the guy,his expression was worried and he took softly Daphnis' glasses off.

<<Are you overwhelmed?Is it because of me being with the two?>>

The boy said blaming himself but Daphnis shook his head in a no and then heard one of the shadows of the boy become clear and not mixing with the others.

<<Please we don't want you to be like us and take everything in>>

That's what the shadow said that caught Daphnis by surprise and that made him decided to speak:

<<I'm sorry to make you worry so much,I'm on my way to talk with your friend again>>

<<My sister>>

The boy corrected him and chuckled softly as Daphnis looked down ashamed.

<<Well my name is Alexander by the way>>

The guy said as he got up and extended his hand out for Daphnis to take it and get up as well.As Daphnis did so they both returned in the living room.Daphnis resolved the case and was about to leave but Alexander stopped him.

<<Hey Daph!>>

The guy called him out with a nickname and smiled softly and even a bit embarassed as he handed him a note with a number on it.

<<Here is my number,maybe we can get to know better?What do you think?>>

<<Yeah,sure!I'll text you when i get back home!>>

<<Okay,then I'll wait for your text>>

And when Daphnis was about to close the door he noticed two of Alexander's shadows telling him something:

<<I love you>>-the first one said in a sweet tone-

<<We don't want you to leave>>-the second one said in a concerned tone

Daphnis smiled and his cheeks flushed red.Then he took courage and said:

<<I love you too>>

Before closing the door behind him and lefting Alexander here looking at the door with a flustered face not believing what Daphnis just said.

Till the point that he opened the door and approached Daphnis and pulled him closer to him to the point they could both hear eachother's warm breath on their faces.

Alexander made the move and kissed him on the lips passionately before letting him go breathless.Daphnis on the other hand was nervous but excited as well so he decided to kiss him back and that made Alexander go crazy.

Alexander picked up Daphnis bridal style and lead him to his bedroom but something unexpected happened.A shadow of Alexander revealed one of his trauma that made Daphnis emotional and the night didn't go as planned but the same good.They cuddle and watched a movie.

The next morning Alexander decided to walk Daphnis to the airport.They gave eachother one last kiss and Daphnis went to take his plane.

After some months none of them talked to eachother anymore,they didn't even know why.

One day Daphnis then got a call from Italy.The voice was cold,serious but he had an hint of teasing to it as well.

<<Hey,detective>>
