Chapter 8

~ Taehyung's POV ~

I looked out of the window and sighed. I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 2:00 am

After all the things Jungkook and I said last night, he still shows up late at home. I sighed and walked downstairs into the kitchen

I opened up the cabinets and got out a wine glass. I sighed and opened up a bottle of red wine. I poured some into the glass and chugged it down almost immediately

I poured one more glass and putting the wine away, not wanting to get tipsy while the twins were here. I was about to walk back into our bedroom until I felt hands on my arm

I looked down to see Jeongsan and Janggsan looking up at me

" Hello my baby, it's 2:00 am, you two should be in bed by now, " I said smiling and taking them both to Jeongsan's bedroom

" Can we sleep with you, mommy?" Janggsan said looking up at Taehyung

" Baby, I have to wait on your Daddy...how about you two sleep in Jeongsan's bed okay?" I said smiling at them and placed them in his brother's bed

" Where is Daddy," Janggsan said pouting as Jeongsan hugged his twin brother tightly, wondering where their father was

" Your Daddy is at work my love, but don't worry! He will be here once you wake up for school okay? Don't worry about it" I said smiling and kissing both of them on the cheek.

They both cuddled up to each other while they were on Jeongsan's bed. I smiled and walked out of the room. I closed the door and frowned

I walked back into our bedroom and sat down on the bed. I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair. I was about to just fall asleep until I heard a voice

"Baby! Are you here?" I heard a voice from downstairs and I ran downstairs to see Jungkook

" Koo!" I said smiling and jumping on him. " Hello my Moonflower" Jungkook said smiling and kissing me on the lips

I smiled and played my hands on his cheeks and deepened the kiss. I missed his lips on mine

I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck. Jungkook smirked a little and dropped his briefcase on the ground and grabbed my hips

I smiled and slowly bit his bottom lip. I was extremely horny at the moment and Jungkook pulled away and looked at me

" I have some good news! We have to celebrated after I tell you" Jungkook said smiling and picking up his briefcase. He placed it on the coffee table and pulled me onto the couch

" So what is up? What's the big news?" I said looking at him with a smile on my face

" So, one of the biggest Chinese companies contacted me this morning trying to discuss a deal with me. We started talking and we are discussing a project together!" Jungkook said smiling softly and I looked at him

Another project...another one? What the hell...I know this is a big deal to Jungkook but he is already tired and frustrated at work and now he is working on another project...

How will we be able to have a child together if he is at work all the time...I don't want us drifting apart...

" O-oh really? This is huge for you my love" I said while looking at him

" This project is going to be a huge baby, I could earn a lot more money and my company could expand! Isn't that great?" Jungkook said smiling brightly

I put on a forced smile and shook my head

" U-um...yeah, that's great Kookie," I said smiling a little and he immediately looked at me with confusion

" What's wrong?" He asked me and I looked up at him

" Nothing is wrong Jungkook-"

" Taehyung, we've been together for 7 years and married for almost 6...I know when something is bothering you so what is it " Jungkook said looking at me

I bit my bottom lip and stayed quiet, I looked at the floor. Not saying a single word

" Is it about the company? Are you not happy for me?" Jungkook said in a pretty upset tone as he got up from the couch

" No Kookie it's just-...I don't know, I thought we'd be able to spend a little bit more time together " I said looking up at him

" Of course we'll spend time together baby. Yes, I'll be at the office a bit more than usual but-" He was saying but I stopped him mid-sentence

" Jungkook, you're already at the office every single day! You spend days in your office and you are never here...I just thought we'd spend a decent amount of time together " I said honestly

" Taehyung baby, I'm just trying to work hard for us. I want to be able to buy you anything you desire baby" Jungkook said to me

" Koo...you know I don't care about material things. I just want your time...I thought we could use a change in our life...something that could pull us together " I said and he looked at me confused once again

I thought another child could pull us together

" Why Taehyung? I have you, the kids, and the company. I don't need to change...WE don't need a change baby" Jungkook said looking at me and it hurt my feelings that he didn't want a change in our relationship

It's not like I couldn't blame him...Our marriage is rocky yet stable and loving. We have two beautiful twin boys. We both have great careers and our income together has us set for life...Would you want to change that?

" I thought a change would be good for us..." I said looking up at him

" What is it? What's change do you want Tae?" Jungkook said to me while looking frustrated

" I-I...I thought another child could bring us together Kookie"
