John Anderson-A Zoophobia Fanfiction

CHAPTER 1

I woke up in the airplane and looked around and saw there was no one on the plane. There was only me and the pilot when I got on the plane, but I could tell that the pilot herself had also left the plane. I got up and grabbed my backpack and guitar and walked into the cockpit and saw that the pilot was gone. I was alone on this plane and so I walked over to the airplane door and grabbed the handle. I looked back and saw there was still no one and then I opened the door.
I was blinded by a white light as I took my steps off the airplane and when I could see again, I saw that I was surrounded by a bunch of animals and creatures, and I was completely freaked out. I looked around in fear and horror at what I was seeing and smacked myself to see if I was dreaming and since I felt pain, that meant I was awake.
All the animals and creatures said "SURPRISE" All at once which freaked me out even more from how loud it was and made me want to cover my ears.
A red snake came up to me and said, "Welcome to The Zoo, John Anderson, well, of course, it's not a zoo sort of ironic that I just called it that really" Then the guy started laughing and laughing and then some turtle guy walked up to me who looked really old and shook my hand and said "Pleasure to make your acquaintance my good sir" and then some grey lady grabbed by arm and said "He sure is a scrawny-gangly shaky lil thing ? ain't he ?" and then some red fox guy walked up and said, "Oh Nonsense Carrie, the boy is perfectly fine" and then some green guy with grey eyes which meant that he was probably blind appeared.
"I'll take your word on that on Fabian." the green guy said and then he continued with "Good morning, evening, day?"
I felt kind of bad for the guy since he was blind since he couldn't see a thing and not being able to see the world around you and all you see is nothingness.
Then some giant cheetah walked up and said "Greetings, are you John Anderson?"
I shook my head as I was saying yes, and the Cheetah said. "Good, then follow me to the school."

We were in his office, and I was sitting right across from him and in another table was an octopus guy who was orange and slurping down some tea and it turns out that the octopus' guy was the principal, and the giant Cheetah guy was the vice-principal.
The Cheetah then said. "My name is Vice-Principal Zechariah, and I would like to welcome you to the Zoo Pheonix Academy which is in the city of Safe Haven which will be your new home for the rest of your life."
My parents enrolled me at this new school since it was for the performing arts and music so they thought that I would have a good time and more opportunities at the school.
I had no idea that there would be giant animals and strange and weird creatures at this school or that I would be in a city that I had never heard of. I knew that I would move to a new city, but I didn't know that the city was a fantastical city of strange and massive creatures and weird and colorful buildings and architecture.
I said that this was for the rest of my life which didn't make sense like how come I couldn't go home? that was really weird because normally you can leave cities or states and I didn't need a passport or anything for this place so like it was weird like really weird.
"Would you like a tour of the school?" Zechariah asked me and I nodded up and down which meant I was saying yes. Then Zechariah said into some kind of watch thing that was on his tail "Jackie, can you come into my office please?" then I heard from over the watch thing the woman who said in a very excited and energetic voice "Absolutely!"
Then Jackie came into the room and said "Hey, Hey Hey !" and walked over to me as I stood up and she shook my hand and said "Well Hello Hello I'm Jackie the Drama Instructor. So, you're the new transfer student that all the staff are talking about? what's your name?"
I was silent and didn't say a word at all and just stood up at her and then Zechariah said, "His name is John Anderson, Jackie."
Then Jackie said in a very energetic tone "Good to meet you John" and then the vice principal said, "He is in need of a tour of the school" and then she said "Not Another Word Zech! I got this!"

I was now in the drama room after she had given me a tour of the art wing of the school, and we walked down the seating area and up to the stage. I saw a lot of other animals and they were socializing and talking amongst themselves.
"And this is my domain! yep, they are my little prodigies" and then a little fox dropped in my arms and then licked me in the face and ran off.
She then said, "Good morning my sparkling's turtle doves" and the students responded with "Hey Jackie."
I saw a yellow lizard looking dude who was arm wrestling some kind of bird looking bird who looked similar to Jackie but different colors.
Jackie had green, blue and yellow hair and her clothes matched the colors which I found kind of weird along with the other guy.
The bird guy lost, and the yellow lizard guy said, "What's up cracker jacks?"
Jackie said, "This is our new student; his name is John Anderson."
I looked around and saw all kinds of animals and what even seemed to be a Kangaroo and maybe a Jackal.
So, it was really weird.
Jackie then said "Now we perform a lot of musicals in our drama class, and we also have instruments being played so I would like to see some of your talent. You can sing, play an instrument or act of sing and play an instrument."
I nodded my head and walked up to the stage and past a red Jackal looking guy and played down my backpack and my guitar case and opened it. up.
My guitar was a red Hollow-Body Electric guitar and I put the strap on and pulled out my red pick which I had been using since I was 13 and I plugged in my amp and plugged the guitar into the Amp.
I cleared my throat and said, "This song is called Maybellene."
I started playing the song Maybellene by Chuck Berry and I sang the lyrics and during the guitar solo I did the duckwalk and I finished the song and afterwards everyone clapped after I finished the last notes of Maybellene.

Jackie said, "That was amazing that was very great such a wonderful voice!"
The other students walked up to me and shook my hand and high fived me and they were talking about how good the song was.
The lizard guy walked up to me and said "Wow, that was a great song!" and I smiled and gave him a shook his hand and then high fived him."
He looked at me confused and asked "Um, What's your name?"
I grabbed my guitar case, and I had my name on it, and I pointed at it, and he said "Oh, Well My name is Zill and it's nice to meet you."
We shook hands again and the Jackal guy walked up, and he said "Hi, I'm Jack and it's nice to meet you."
We shook hands but then a light crashed on Jack, and he was left lying on the ground and covered in blood.
"Jack!" Zill screamed as the bird guy pointed to Jack and said "Hey Jackie! another light fell. " And she responded with "I saw it!"
I looked down in shock as I saw the pool of blood grow and I looked at the destroyed and mangled body of Jack as he laid there with his body completely crushed by the light.

So, Jack turned out alright and of course the problem was where I was going to stay but that was already fixed as Jack's mom had volunteered to have me live with them so that was good, and I walked home with Jack and into the Animal district and I got to see all the creatures and animals that lived in this area.
We reached the home of the Well's house which was Jackson's house and we walked inside and saw Jack's mother and she walked over to us.
"It's so nice to meet you John it's wonderful to save you at our house" She said this as she shook my hand and I smiled and nodded at her as he then said "I would like to welcome you to our home, I'm Mindy and you can just call me that and this is Jack, you probably alright know him, so how was your day ?"
I gave her a thumbs up and smiled and she said, "I was going to make some meatloaf and salad for night, that sound alright?" I nodded my head up and down and gave a thumbs up again.
Then Mindy said "Well, you to go sit because dinner is going to be ready soon."
So, me and Jack walked over to the table.

We were all eating dinner and I was finishing up the meatloaf after I was done with the salad. As I was eating the meatloaf, Mindy asked me "Do you want some more Ketchup John?" And I shook my head as I was saying no and then she asked me if I wanted some more water, and I shook my head again as I was saying no.
I decided I wanted some salt to put on the meatloaf, but I couldn't reach it from where I was, so I tapped on Jack's shoulder and pointed to the salt and Jack asked. "You want the Salt?" and I nodded yes, and he handed me the salt and I put some salt on it, and I handed it back to him and he put it back in its spot.
Mindy looked at me and asked "John, why don't do you talk? or are you able to talk?"
Jack responded for me and said "He can talk since at school the teacher had him show off his musical capabilities in class for our theatre production and he played a song on his guitar. He said the song was called Maybellene and he sang pretty good."
I smiled at Jack, and he smiled back at me and then Mindy asked "Well, why don't you talk then? it's not like we're goanna bite. "
I shrugged and she said "Well, okay then."

It was later and we were all in the living room and Mindy asked me "Hey, how about you play a song for us?" and I nodded and stood up and played Maybellene again and then I tapped on my guitar and strummed the guitar as if I was saying "Wait, I've got one more song for you all."
They all sat in front of me and looked at me as I played a new song which was the song You Can't Catch Me by Chuck Berry and afterwards, they clapped and applauded as I bowed as I finished You Can't Catch Me

Later, I went to my new bedroom and placed by guitar case near the bed and placed my backpack on the floor and climbed into bed and went to bed at around 9:30.
