[Shadow POV]

I jump across the roofs in the Midgar Kingdom, dressed in my Shadow attire. The kingdom of Midgar once more received a notice from Faker, describing the upcoming heist being performed tonight that will steal... the gold and some weird fire orb inside the vault of a bank.

All the gold was oddly emphasized in this notice.

Unfortunately, it is a bank run by Shadow Garden.

So, I want that gold for myself as an excuse for stopping him. I hope he can 'donate' that gold to me. As a personal expense of course: To cover the damages to my robe.

Jumping across many different buildings in Midgar, I finally reached the roof of the bank. After many quick encounters against Faker and his helpers, I learned that I need to prepare some 'welcoming packages' before his arrival. Using slimes, I created some traps using my Shadow Wisdom. Bear traps, tripwire, spikes, and a comically large fork were set on the door to the roof, entrances to the vault, and some ventilation. Each slime trap was strengthened with magic and unleashes a strong amount of energy that can potentially injure a person if interacted with. I laugh in glee internally with this ingenious idea of mine.

With time ticking down, if Faker begins the heist now, then he would be stopped long enough to fail in obtaining the treasures in the bank. Yet, as I began to calm down, one question remained.

If he could perform all the notices and complete them at exactly the time of the notice, then would that mean-

"Ah."

While yes, he would need to get into the vault, but what if he just decides to go all guns-blazing? Doing this heist stealthily could be very difficult, and all the other notices when mentioning stealing items inside buildings were sometimes done by taking the room the object was stored in, causing the collapse of the building...

"...I seem to have failed in his exaggerations of his-" I muttered before I began to feel a sense of magic.

I then heard a large explosion, which came from the opposite side of the building. From the explosion, I see Faker running away with the vault itself, tightly sealed with some kind of odd metal. It was also floating from some type of magic. The knights of Midgar who were initially guarding the bank were now attempting to chase him, but I see that somehow both him and the vault are outpacing the knights.

...I feel annoyed.

He didn't give me any gold!

And he's also stealing things from Shadow Garden, that too. I summoned my slime sword into my hands and steeled myself for what I was going to perform.

The Shadow Skyfall.

I soared to the skies in the dark shiny night, being an unseen speck surrounded by stars. As I was writing that down in a textbook in my right hand, I was ascending to the point where I could start seeing space itself. Once I reached a certain point, I used some magical energy to allow myself to dash forwards in the air without falling. The dash I performed was going to end up meters ahead from the assumed location Faker is at. Then, once I reached said location, I stopped the magic and positioned myself to where the sword was now facing the ground, the estimated location of where we will interact. I now dashed downwards with a different magic, using the momentum of gravity to assist in further accelerating my upcoming collision to Faker.

During this fall, I began to spin around with the sword continuing to point downwards, causing a whirl of magic to form. Additionally, the slimes that surround my Shadow attire are now additionally reinforced with magic, ready to endure the impact when my sword reaches the ground or him.
