MY HOT NEIGHBOR

CHAPTER 2

Rummaging through my pockets I finally found my phone. I decided to call Tessa to thank her for cleaning up my mess which was really not necessary. Tessa has always been there for me when I needed her the most. No matter how many fights we may have fought she would always find a way to make it up to me.

'' Hey Tess thankyou so much for cleaning my room I was planning to organize it when I got back to my apartment but........ aah nevermind thanks tho''

'' No problem darling. So sorry I had to leave on such a short notice .... I received a call from my assistant saying that she needed me at the clinic so I had to leave''

'' Bro you gotta take care of your health anyway you know that better than me '' I said savoring the last piece of my blueberry cupcake

'' Tess I gotta go I have to study for the test so ill talk to you later''

'' Okiee byee ........... break a leg '' Tessa said chuckling from the other side. Tessa is always this supportive and full of energy. God knows how she keeps up with her hot headed seniors all the time. Maybe because she has a calm mind and she maintains it that way

'' Yeah byee''

Mann I gotta go study now its getting late. Switching off my phone I tied my hair in a high ponytail and started sketching out some ideas for my assignment. People just need to understand that fashion designing is not just about making dresses but its more than just that.

I was determined this time. I was not gonna come second this time. I wanted to prove everyone that I'm not only beautiful but also smart enough to take over my dad's empire one day. I just needed to prove that to him. My dad although being a perfectionist never pushed us to become perfectionist ourselves but me and my brother Louis Clarke always loved to compete between us just to prove dad who is the better one.

Louis was the typical perfect child who had the perfect grades and girls wrapped around his fingertips but he never seemed to care much about it. The only thing that we had in common was that it was difficult to make us fall in love with someone else .

'' Lemme just check my phone ''

'' 26 MISSED CALLS FROM LOUIS AND 40 MISSED CALLS FROM DAD!!'' Oh god Serena what did you do this time ughhhhhhhhhhhh

I tried calling dad but it redirected to voicemail. Ill just try calling Louis I guess.

''Supp Looser!'' Louis said snorting 

'' Shut up man. Anyway why did you and dad call me multiple times ? you know there is a thing called TEXTING''

'' No one wants to hear your unpaid facts dude just shut up. Nevermind guess what..'' 

'' What is it ''

'' Dad just bought you a villa near your university. Isn't that great'' I'm shocked like why isn't louis jealous that dad bought me a villa. 

'' WHOA !! that's. great but I was fine in this apartment too. Dad really didn't need to buy me a whole damn villa''

'' Okay looser ill tell dad to sell the villa since you don't need it''

   '' Hey don't!! don't you dare! '' Louis suddenly gave dad his phone

'' Hey dad''

'' Hey Serena''

'' How are you sweetie?''

'' I'm fine dad. The campus life is draining me but that's fine I can handle that much''

'' That's great. You will be moving to the villa next week so start packing your stuff''

'' But dad..''

'' No ifs and buts I bought the villa just because the apartment was too far away from your campus and I have hired a driver for you so that you can go to university without much hassle. I don't wanna see my baby this struggling. Afterall I'm your dad and its my duty to protect you''

I wasn't scared of staying alone but the thought of girls being abducted and kidnapped near my apartment is what scared me the most.

'' Thankyou dad your the best!!''

Hanging up the call I couldn't be more excited to move out from this dinghy apartment. I barely had a workspace to make my dresses. I hadn't demanded a penny from my dad for my university life so I decided to work in small hotel during summer breaks and the amount I had saved was enough to pay my fees and buy this small apartment.

I did a happy dance just when I received a notification ping on my phone

DAD: Hey sweetie I have sent you the address to our villa. Your driver will come pick you up tomorrow to drive you to our villa.

Dad is really the best!

I called Tessa to break the big news to her. Afterall she was my bestfriend 

'' Hey Tess guess what dad bought me a villa near my campus so ill be shifting there next week.''

'' Whoaa girlie I'm so happy for ya. Well just lemme know if you need any help''

'' Yeah sure well I could use a hand''

'' Well ill come to your apartment tomorrow afternoon we better start packing up mate''

'' Yeah sure''

By the time I was done I was starving like anything. Opening the kitchen cabinet the only thing thing left was a month old cup noodle packet. Well it was pretty dark outside so I couldn't even step outside to buy anything. 

''Eh ill just eat this ig.''

After I was done eating I set my bed as I didn't get enough sleep because of Tessa fangirling and between my assignments it made me crazy. I packed my bag for tomorrow's classes setting out my uniform hanging it neatly I couldn't really pinpoint when I fell asleep
