CH 3 : MEETING A STRANGER

It was nearly 8 am in the morning. Both Shikhar and his dad went out for some work, while Swati went upstairs & changed her shorts into black pants and came back.

She tied the collar chain on both of her dogs, and wore her shoes. " Mumma I am going " She said to her mother who was busy doing her house chorus.

" Go safely & take an umbrella with you as it might rain today "

Swati took the umbrella and went out with her dogs. She decided to take Chenry and tuffy, to the park located near her house. It takes nearly 5 mins to reach there. It was a cloudy day.

She reached the park and to her surprise no one was there, otherwise many people were seen here in the park, especially on Sundays.

Leaving this thought, she entered the park through the first gate. This park has four gates and is so big that it takes almost 2 hours to take a full round of it.

This area was earlier a zoo but now a public park, that's why it's so big.

She started walking on the tracks with both of her dogs. While walking she was observing the nature around her.

The marigold flowers grown near the tracks, butterflies roaming around them. She was observing them more deeply as marigold are her favorite flowers.

She then turned her attention towards the trees. Various types of trees were grown in the park.

While observing ,her sight went towards a nest bulit on a banyan tree. A smile automatically appers on her face seeing small chicks in the nest.

She got so busy in observing the nature that she forgot about her dogs. She unknowingly left their collar chains. Suddenly a raindrop fell on her cheek making her startled. Soon it started raining, she opened her umbrella and looked down only to find her dogs are nowhere to be seen.

Panic suddenly fills me, when I realized that both Chenry and Tuffy are nowhere to be seen around me. I was mentally cursing myself for my carelessness

O God ! Where they could be??. What if they get lost, the park is so big, hiw will I find them?? .

" CHENRY, TUFFY " I shouted but there was no response. I shouted again but this I heard a bark from my left side. The bark heard was so low that I can make sure that thay are far away.

Suddenly mire barking sounds were heard, maybe they were barking on someone.

I ran in the direction where the barking sound was coming while shouting their names. The more I ran the more I felt that I was getting close to them, ,but it was getting a little bit difficult to see in the rain while wind was making it hard to run, since I was holding a umbrella.

Once I ran a particular distance, I saw a man covered in complete black garments, sitting on a bench located near the tracks.

He was wearing a black mask & head was covered with hoodie cap, completely giving off kidnapper vibes and the way he was sitting , it doesn't seem like he cares about getting wet in rain while both Cherry and Tuffy were barking at him keeping a little distance.

I quickly ran towards them. Once I reached near them I quickly hold the collar chains of both my dogs, so they won't run away again & ultimately they stopped barking.

I went the men who was sitting like own this place, for apologizing. All the way I was looking down not daring to have a eye contact with him.

I don't know why...

He does have a scary aura around him.

He stood up, facing me,keeping a particular distance. But I have to say that his height was pretty big or maybe I can say that I am short heightened.

I lift my face to look at him & found him already staring at me with his green eyes. He was looking deep in my eyes.

" I.I am s.sorry s.sir...... You got d.disturbed b.because of m.my dogs....I.I a.a am r.realy s.sorry " I cursed at myself for shuttering and the way he was staring at me,I was feeling butterflies in my stomach.

" Its okay.... Sweetheart " he spoke his deep voice sending shivers down my body and what does he meant by sweetheart.

I am not his sweetheart.

And why he is getting wet in rain, he might get sick, he could have stand under a tree,oh no no it will no be safe since it's lightening in the sky.

" Ummm.... Sir.... You are getting wet in rain, you might get sick.... Ummm..... I can share my umbrella with you . " I spoke feeling a little nervous.

" No thanks...I like getting wet in the rain." he spoke and again his deep voice send shivers down my body.

" Ummm okay...... Then I should go now " I gave him a sweet smile " And again sorry for disturbing you " I said glaring at my dogs who were covered in mud and were messy.

Saying that I turned around and went my way towards home with my home.

Meanwhile that men was still staring at her until she disappeared from the sight.

" See you soon sweetheart " He whispered to himself while smirking .

While Swati was walking care freely without knowing about the storm that is going to enter in her life.
