This story doesn't have to do with a lot of the fortnite lore. In this, OG Midas and Montague are in the island together and it's taking place before the Gods and Society stuff.
I didn't change anything in this. If you've read authors note again then you'll understand what I'm talking about.

The three most famous people on the island. Midas, Montague, and Y/N. While they're not related they all share a similar special touch.
Midas: he can turn anything into gold with just a touch of his golden hand.
Montague: he can turn anything he touches into diamond but only while having his amulet around his neck.
Y/N: she can turn anything that they touch into emerald but only when having a special bracelet on.
Although there powers are similar, they have an undying hatred towards one another. Each of them thinking that their own powers are superior compared to the others. They never interacted as much. Only when something bad happens around the island that they need to fix.
