"EHHHHHH?!"
T'was the reaction from Tenma and Shinsuke, while the others were mouth gaping and/or eyes wide, when they returned from their training in God Eden. Even Alpha had his eyes wide open at the sight before him:
You stared at them while slurping onto your ramen; head turned away from watching Miyabino and Kurama playing a retro soccer game that Yuukoku kept stored in his bedroom. Behind them was Aoyama and Ichino cheering Kurama on, while Yoshihiko and Sousuke cheered for Miyabino. Beside you on your left was Nishinosora casually slurping on his own bowl of eamen, trying not to laugh at the shocked faces, while on your right was Yukimura eating his Hokkaido Egg Tarts. On the other end of the couch, Namikawa, Kurumada, Hamano, and Amagi engaging in an arm wrestling match. Sitting on the floor, there was Hayami conversing with Minamisawa about a sci–fi book they've both read.
"Oh! Welcome back you guys!" Sangoku chuckled, coming out of the kitchen with an apron on and a tray of soccer cookies in his hand.
The Eden Crew blinked twice, casting their gaze from Sangoku to the cookies, then to him again. Their eyes later moved towards Ryuuzaki, Hakuryuu, and Kishibe also coming out of the kitchen with drinks on trays and more plates of soccer cookies at hand.
"Hakuryuu?!" Tsurugi gasped. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, been a long time, hasn't it Tsurugi?" Hakuryuu smirked. "How was your training in God Eden? Did Shuu helped out?"
At Shuu's name, you perked up. When the Eden crew noticed the curiosity gleaming in your eyes, they all except for Alpha smiled with a sweat. It appeared both sides have lots to explain.

The Eden crew listened to your friends ⸺ mainly Kita and Kishibe cause at least they didn't exaggerate the tale or forget certain details ⸺ of how you and them managed to fix the brainwash. Namikawa became a little red in the face when came up the part he punched Sangoku, but Sangoku said he shouldn't regret the decision. Tsurugi, surprisingly enough, agreed with Namikawa, since his act spurred the moment Sangoku snapped out of his brainwash.
While listening to Shindou telling the whole group about his and the others time in God Eden, you stared at the photo (taken by Akane) of the miximax Alpha. Opposite of the couch before you, Alpha's ears reddened the longer you stared at his photo. Did he look off in that picture by any chance? Or perhaps Shuu's black hair did not did mix well with Alpha's hair shape? Such thoughts were hard for Alpha to push, and he wondered why. Also, why was his heart beating so fast⸺
Nishinosora whistled when he looked at the photo. "Miximax ey? That looks sick, think I can try that Mr Robo–Bear?"
"I am not a robot bear! I am Clark Wonderbot! Also known as Wondeba!" Wondeba huffed. "But no, you can't try it. Miximax is a delicate, technological DNA advancement tool. Miximax can only be achievable when both souls are on the same wavelength."
"That so?" Nishinosora pointed at Sousuke with a grin. "Oi, Sousuke, let's do it."
"Why me?" Sousuke perked up.
"I'm banking on the idea our wavelengths are the same, cause I don't think the others is gonna match my coolness."
Everyone in the room glared at Nishinosora, but he continued:
"Especially Cap's. He's a bit too proper for me."
Kita rolled his eyes.
Sousuke deadpanned. "Don't drag me into this. As cool as I am, there is no way I spiritually relate to you."
"Hmph." Nishinosora leaned against you. "Whatever then. Guess it just means our coolness also don't match."
"Big bro, do you think I'm cool enough that we can miximax?" Yoshihiko asked.
