When your mind goes blank, you forget everything around you. You zone into your own little world where you don't need to remember such trivial information that won't ever impact your life.

And at this very moment, whilst talking resumed around her, Indigo felt exactly this way. The sun had finally raised high enough to hit onto her, burning her skin softly.

Her head lay on Tommy's shoulder, her eyes focused into the wood infront of the group of four. The auroma of some form of canned food being cooked wafted slowly past them.

"I'm gonna get heading inside," Tommy said "Youse wanna come?" He patted Indigo's head to notify her he was about to stand up. She moved her head, shifting to get up herself.

"What's cooking in here?" Indigo asked, sitting at the table with the others who'd already been awake. "More like burning. But uh.. Sapnaps trying to make canned meat." Bad said, sitting opposite her.

"You need help Saps?" Indigo questioned, walking up behind him. "It would be nice." Sapnap responded, turning around and flashing a bright smile at her. "Okay, what are we doing then?"

After the duo had successfully not burned the food, the large group sat down to eat in the booth-like dining area.

Bad at the end, Dream and George beside him. Tommy and Tubbo were squashed up together in the corner, Ranboo and Jack on either side of them. Sapnap and Sam both squashed Indigo, trying to compete for her attention when, in reality, the food had her attention.

"So..." Dream took a bite of his food and chewed, "Indigo, how was your sleep?" And all of a sudden everybody was very interested on the topic Indigo's rest. "Err.. yeah, uh, no, it was good." She smiled and went back to eating her, surprisingly not spoiled, eggs.

Once everybody got back to their own conversations, Sam laughed at her slightly. "What?" She mumbled, her mouth full of food. "You got a lot of sleep, did you now?" He elbowed her side, making her laugh too.

She kicked her legs back and forth while still sitting at the table. Sapnap and Tommy were doing the dishes, everybody else was playing with a Frisbee Dream had found the previous day.

Chilky autumn breeze was gliding around, the sun was shining a beautiful yellow colour across the grass reflecting off the Frisbee which was being passed through everyone.

"Are we done yet?" Tommy whined, watching Tubbo, Ranboo and Jack mess around outside. " here's only like three dishes left. Go outside." Sapnap rolled his eyes as Tommy ran to the front door and joined everyone in the sun.

Indigo looked over at Sapnap, standing up and walking over to him, "Think you need help there, Saps?" She'd asked, resting her chin on his shoulder. "If you wouldn't mind?" And with that she nudged him over and began cleaning the silverware.

The two conversed about their days so far, how their nights were et cetera. They listened to everybody's laughter from outside before it turned quiet. Too quiet.

"What the fuck?" Indigo whispered, wiping her hands dry on her jeans. She peered through the window, seeing an absolutely abandoned yard, not a soul in sight. "They're gone."

"What do you mean?" Sapnap followed her, looking through the window too. "Oh. That's what you mean." "Yeah okay, where the fuck are they?" Indigo said, panicked. "How would I know?" Sapnap mumbled, walking over to the door and turning the knob.

Indigo grabbed her bag from the table, passing Sapnap his own. "We looking for them now?" He asked, following her outside, his pistol in his hand. "I guess so." She replied, looking to his face.

As they stepped closer to the road side, screams and shrieks became more apparent from the wood beside the home. "Looks like we've found them." Indigo opened her backpack (which Sapnap was holding) and pulled out two more pistols. One for herself and one for another member of the group.

She shrugged the bag onto her shoulders, and pulled Sapnap beside her to follow the noise. They walked into the wood, the grass much longer than it was by the house, a soft fog set over them. Branches and leaves shaded their path as they walked, the breeze got colder and the fog got thicker as they walked further into the thicket.

And as the trees became more and more sparse the screaming and shrill shrieks became less and less common. Assuming that what the group found was a hoard of zombies, they must've defeated them all. And although there was not a single sound of a gunshot, something must've happened for it to become this silent.

Their footsteps thudded over the red sand on the floor of the forest, it being almost the only sound in there. "You think they're okay?" Sapnap asked, seeing far in front of them, an opening from the creepy wood around them. "Probably. They have like eight or something people. They'll be fine."

And as they approached the opening, they weren't as sure of what Indigo had previously said as they were not even five minutes before. There were red stains on the ground, the disgusting smell of spoiled meat closing in on them. "Crap, that smells horrible." Indigo mumbled, pinching her nose with her fingers. "Yep," said Sapnap, doing the same as her.

The two walked in silence the rest of the way, breathing through their mouths to avoid having to smell the stench. Their hands were intertwined, both scared for what was about to come as they stepped out of the dense woods into the circle of open grass and their friends.

"Holy crap! We thought we lost you guys!" Indigo ran up to Tommy, engulfing him in a hug, "My word. Are you okay? Whose blood is this? What happened?" She bombarded him with questions as she held his face,. (THEIR LIKE SIBLINGS BTW)

"I'm fine. It isn't my blood." Tommy replied. "Okay, okay, whose blood is it, Tommy?"  Indigo asked again, looking at him sternly. His eyes began tearing up as he turned to look behind him.

"His.."

And Indigo turned to look, and her gaze landed on a severely injured Tubbo.
