When the serpent realized that Hope, Josie and Alaric were in the room he swiftly turns to them and throws a table at Josie. Hope quickly pulled Josie out of the way causing them to fall on top of each other. "You okay?" Hope asked helping Josie up "Y-yeah I'm okay."Josie answered now standing up straight" Got any ideas on how to kill this thing?" Hope asked as she threw the monster against a wall using a spell."It feeds off of secrets. So just tell it a couple of things hopefully that will d-" Alaric said but got cut off by the monster throwing him out of the room "So you think I'm about to tell that thing my secrets, think again" Hope said as dodged another fireball being thrown at her "We have to,look I'll start I-" Josie started but got cut off by the monster throwing Hope against the wall "Im in love with you Hope." Josie rushed out "Wh- I never really liked Landon" Hope said feeling a little guilty. "Then why did you date him?" Josie asked trying to focus on the serpent who threw another table at them. "To forget about Penelope and the feelings I have for her."Hope said which caused the monster the shatter completely." Your still in love with her? "Josie asked with tears welling up in her eyes. Just as Hope was about to reply Alaric barged back in the room" You did it " He said walking over to his daughter" I have to go. " Hope said before storming off"I'll be right back" Josie said before going in the same direction Hope went.
Hope's POV
After I walked away from Josie I decided to call my aunt Freya.

Don't even think of lying
Okay, there was a monster at school
Well that, normal by now right?
Yeah but this monster feeds off of lies and secrets

Well that's a good thing seeing as you two are dating
Yeah, well I told her that I'm still in love with Penelope
Well that's not something that will just go away. You loved Penelope more than anything
Yeah but I'm with Josie I'm supposed to be over Penelope I mean she left
Have you ever thought that maybe she had a reason for leaving
Like what?
I don't know sweetheart, but I have to go now love
Okay love aunt Freya
Love you too Hopey
(end of phone call)
*knock knock *
"Come in" I said as I walked over to my bed "We need to talk"
