Meanwhile, one of Nyx's patrons was engaged in a bustling scene at Valentino's salon. "I assure you, I possess the necessary qualifications... you know, an appealing physique? Can I come in... please...?"

One of Valentino's assistants, exasperated by her persistent pleas, finally relented and allowed her inside. "Fine, whatever," the assistant muttered, shrugging their shoulders.

"Thanks, babe," she exclaimed, striding into the salon and scanning her surroundings. Her gaze settled upon Valentino, or at least who she believed to be the salon's proprietor. She snapped her fingers with a flourish, causing her uniform to dissipate into thin air, revealing an off-the-shoulder black velvet dress. Another snap of her fingers, and her discarded attire transformed into a wisp of smoke. With an enticing smile, she approached Valentino, seductively hiking up her skirt to reveal her thighs. Valentino glanced up and responded with a wide, toothy grin.

"Hello, sir," she purred, her voice dripping with sweetness and allure.

"I got the bloody job!" she exclaimed, bursting into the mansion with uncontainable excitement. "Hell yeah!"

Lumos, caught off guard by her sudden outburst, jumped in his cat form and cast an irritated glance in her direction. He swiftly transformed back into his human form, his annoyance palpable. "What in the world are you screeching about?"

Bunnix flung the envelope at him as if it were a paper airplane. Lumos caught it and opened it, his eyes widening in disbelief as he read the contents. "You... you're a stripper now?"

Bunnix blew him a playful kiss. "Can you believe it? So cool!"

"Who's a stripper?" Elijah materialized from the ground in a swirl of white smoke, snatching the paper from Lumos. "Oh, Bunnix, you naughty bunny. How scandalous."

"I never thought I'd get it, you know?" Bunnix beamed triumphantly, raising her arms in victory and fanning herself dramatically. "But I did! Ha!"

Lumos sighed, his gaze fixed on Bunnix as he folded his arms, his disapproval evident. "What will Nyx think of this?"

Bunnix's grin widened mischievously. "She doesn't have to know~"

"Ew, you're giving off that freaky Radio demon Alastor vibe, minus the yellow teeth," Elijah chuckled, dodging the pillow thrown at him. He slumped onto the couch where Lumos had previously been sitting, prompting Lumos to shift slightly and cast a disapproving gaze at Bunnix.

"There's something seriously off about you," Lumos stated firmly, his eyes locked on Bunnix. Bunnix shrugged nonchalantly, making her way to the door and firmly reattaching the fallen sticker. However, it promptly fell off again, eliciting a groan from her. She returned to the couch, joining Lumos and Elijah, and gracefully crossed her legs.

"I'll be swimming in riches for days," Bunnix sighed contentedly, snatching the paper from Lumos and tossing it into the air.

The paper fluttered downward, only to be intercepted by a gloved hand. It belonged to Nyx. She examined the paper briefly before flipping it over to read its contents, but not before Bunnix swiftly made a giant hand emerge from the floor to snatch it back and hand it to Bunnix, concealing it within her grasp. "Hello, Nyx! Long time no see. Are you alright?"

Nyx tilted her head slightly, dressed in her customary attire. "What is that, Bunnix?"

Bunnix gulped audibly, clutching the paper tightly. "This old thing? Just junk mail. Nothing special. Hehe..."

Nyx sighed, waving her hand dismissively before retreating to her room. Bunnix heaved a sigh of relief and enthusiastically high-fived her own oversized hand, which appeared briefly before dissipating. "That was a close call..."

"You shouldn't be keeping secrets from Nyx!" Lumos protested, standing up with a stern expression.

Bunnix glanced at him sideways, reaching over to flick his collar, which bore a pendant. With that simple gesture, Lumos transformed into a full-fledged cat. Bunnix scooped him up, grinning mischievously. "Aw, cat got your tongue, Lumos?"

The cat version of Lumos hissed in response, attempting to scratch Bunnix. She held him at arm's length, unaffected by his feline display of irritation. Her gaze then turned to Elijah, who was laughing heartily at the entire spectacle.

"Stop laughing, you stupid bitch!" Bunnix exclaimed, forcefully throwing Lumos at Elijah. Lumos landed on Elijah's face, launching an assault with his claws.

Elijah, displaying absolute nonchalance, calmly peeled Lumos off his face, maintaining his smile despite the scratch marks.

"I literally did nothing but ok."

He gently set Lumos down and, with a flick of the pendant on his collar, swiftly transformed Lumos back into his human form.

Lumos frowned and glanced at Elijah, offering an apology for his actions. "Sorry for fucking up your face."

Elijah laughed heartily, shrugging his shoulders before crossing his arms. "No need to worry. When I have the opportunity to give you a taste of your own medicine, we will be on equal terms."

Lumos gulped and shot Bunnix a fierce glare, but she simply responded by flipping him off and strolling away with a self-satisfied smirk. As she opened the doors of the mansion, she glanced back at Elijah and Lumos, teasingly declaring, "I'm going out, lovebirds."

And with that, she disappeared from sight. Elijah and Lumos locked eyes, and a mischievous expression came over Elijah's face. "Now its my turn to fuck your face up."

Lumos instincts told him to run for it, in which he did, and Elijah gleefully pursued him, wielding a spear and laughing while revelling in sheer delight of the chaos he was about to cause.
