<Aria POV>
Hmm.. Abhi is not here .. He has gone somewhere.. ohk.. not far.. just went to buy our food. I preferred to stay here so that I can read that diary.. and I guess it's the time.. After that night, the next morning I tried acting like I don't know anything about the lock and all.. and that how it got broken.. he assumed that a branch came flying with the wind and broke the lock.. He will also buy a lock on his way back.. It's time to read the diary.. I adjusted myself on the bed and took a deep breath.. yes .. Everything is fine.. let's just open it..
The 1st page says .. a little introduction about the diary..
Interesting.. Let's go to the main part .. but oh .. did I mentioned the author? It's that guy Jungkook.. A journal about his 1st visit to India.. Looks like he loved travelling.. let's start...
\\\\Now onwards.. All the words in italics will be from Jungkook's point of view, as per his writings in the diary which is being read out by Aria////
Date: 10th October 1905..
Dear diary...
It's my first visit to India.. while coming from America.. Dad had told me that I will like it here.. Probably I will.. he had said that this place is very beautiful! All these years of me living in boarding school in order to complete my studies, I was being detached from travelling for years. Days were tiring. But I still liked travelling far and wide during my vacations.. To say, this trip is of about .. 2 ½ weeks.. yes .. I won't get a longer leave.. It will take me another 1½ weeks of travelling from there to here and vise versa..
I have heard a lot about India from dad.. His friend had gone to appear for Civil Services Examination to England.. from India .. and me and my family have been living there even before I was born.. Many a times I have visited my native land.. and I am well acquainted with Korean culture.. but I know more about British culture than Korean culture .. British has monopoly over India.. and Indians are trying their level best to get themselves free from the clutches of the British Empire.. That's praiseworthy..
I will never be able to explain in proper words about the greatness of India.. as their is not a single book related to India in Europe.. all I know is from my dad.. He visits here once a year.. And I decided to accompany him this time..
The journey was tough. We needed to take a train to Teghoria, Kolkata, West Bengal... No cars are present here.. The train was a bit congested.. it lacked proper sanitation.. but we managed to secure a window seat.. It was not my first time in train.. But it was my first travel on Indian train for sure.. Even in the chaos.. what I liked is the beautiful greenery of India.. It's filled with the blessing of mother nature, lakes, ponds, rivers, cultivable land etc..
It might be a bit surprising from a foreigner to praise India who is from Europe.. but I prefer to underline the beauty then to poke out the defects... Also .. Stations are to be managed by the english men.. this untidy atmosphere is their fault.. I could see one sitting just in front of me in the train.. But I decided to avoid him.. His skin was as white as milk.. Black lether boots.. a cap.. and was smoking.. they are really ruining this beauty here..
As we got down the train and got out of the station.. there came a cart or something.. Many wooden blocks were connected side by side to make a big seat.. with a sheath above to protect from sunrays and rain.. and it was being pulled my two bulls.. controlled by a middle aged man.. probably in his mid 30's.. he had a piece of cloth wrapped around his bottom part and the upper body was naked, just another piece of cloth hanging from his neck.. umm.. Thank god it's not winter.. He might had caught fever.
