"When I look at the stars, it's like i'm looking at you"

The room was full of chatter, people on their phones and those who simply didn't get enough sleep the night before.

However, one student in particular sat alone in silence. Not because her friends weren't there or because she was tired; but because she couldn't care less about even being there.

Usually, the noirenette loved Literature, it was her major after all. But today was the start of her third year and the day she would be assigned a partner for a three year project from a class filled with people she didn't exactly consider her best friends.

This year they had a new professor who was going to take them for the next three years. Byeol would hear the other students talking about how admirable he was, how hardworking and helpful, even some said he was too young and attractive to be a professor.

Usually she wouldn't care; today is not usually.

Byeol was intrigued none the less, she was never taught by him and apparently you get 10x smarter in his class. Keyword : apparently.

✭STELLA✭

I was seated at the back of the lecture hall, paying no attention to anyone around. The noise couldn't be helped so I gradually zoned out. For a second the noise stopped. My eyes peered down to the large lectern that was all alone about 2 seconds ago.

A young man with a face any student of Blossom University would recognise, Professor Kwon Hyun Soo.

He stood at the front with two books in hand and a smile placed on his face. All eyes were on him, he cleared his throat introducing himself as if we didn't already know who he was.

The first half of the class was him talking about how happy he was to get to know us, and as sweet as it was i almost fell asleep.

Most of the girls sat daydreaming about him and i somewhat got why. He was tall, you could say around 6ft, he wore a white shirt and blue dress pants with his hair swooped to the side with gel. A pair of thick black specs sat on the bridge of his nose and an expensive gold watch was wrapped around his wrist.

He pulled out a sheet of paper with god-knows-what written on it.

"This is a list of who will be partners for the project." His voice echoed once again followed by groans of the unhappy students.

He called out pair by pair and i just waited to hear my name, hoping i get someone likeable.

At the end of the list, finally, i hear it.

" Ryu Byeol and-" his words were cut off.

By the door closing and a familiar face walking to the seats.

"Lee Heeseung"

I wasn't sure if it was my bad luck or lack of understanding that he just happened to walk in and get called right as my partner was being announced.

However my eyes had not moved from the now not so happy professor whose eyebrows furrowed together.

"You're just on time" he spoke sarcastically

"You will be working with Miss Ryu for this project,  so please find a seat" you could tell Professor Kwon was irritated with being interrupted  but he kept his composure.

Heeseung simply bowed and mumbled something as my eyes scanned him, meeting his for a moment before they darted away.

My attention was back on the man in front. Until i felt a presence next to me.

My head turned, only to meet the same set of deep brown eyes that i avoided a moment prior.

I tried not to notice the smirk growing on his face and returned my focus to the front.

This assignment was to get to know someone. To know their flaws and all. We had to figure each other out and submit a paper on our experience; how we were similar and how we were different.

But how can i do this with someone who i know more than i know myself? What am i to do for three years when there's nothing else about him to know?

I decided to rewrite because i read it and i think i can do much better so please bear with me but i hope you guys like it!!

I made some changes eg. Stella's name and the fact they are in uni and not high school, other than that, for the most part is would be the same
