luke pov + tatum pov

luke was going to shit his pants. tatum was here. as in the same place he is. someone kill him. john marino skated up next to luke and smiled at him, "your girl is here man." luke rolled his eyes. "she's not my girl."

"you proclaimed your love for her on national television."

"i know i did."

"okay, so you know she's your girl then!" john teased. luke rolled his eyes and just decided to ignore him and continue his warm up. before long curtis lazar skated up to the conversation and began poking fun at luke. "dude you should give her a puck."

"oh my god you should." john quickly nodded his head agreeing. "okay. i will." their jaws dropped. "just to get you guys to shut up."

meanwhile, tatum was thinking about slapping aiden into another dimension. they were currently in line for some snacks, and when it was finally their turn to order, aiden started hitting on the poor girl working trying to convince her to give him a beer. it didn't work.

"okay come on" tatum grabbed aiden and dragged him to a corner where they would be alone. "you're embarrassing me, you know that?" she whisper-yelled. "well i don't fucking like you." she froze.

"you never want to do anything with me. i feel like i have to bribe you to fuck me. it's annoying"

"then leave." she yelled. "get the fuck away from me." she grabbed her popcorn and her coke and stormed away.

when she got back to her seats, lauren was waiting for her. "hey where's aiden?" tatum rolled her eyes and sighed. that's all it took for lauren to realize he was a dickhead and she dumped him. "oh my god finally!" she yelled.  the girls laughed together before being interrupted by a hockey player.

a absolute monster of a man skated over to them. tatum wasn't the tallest person ever standing at 5'6 so when a 6'2 hockey player on skates was next to her, she looked tiny. the man opened his mouth, "hi im luke." he told her.

"tatum."

he smiled at her before grabbing a puck on the ice and gently tossing it over the glass. "for you," he winked at tatum and then skated away. now if you asked lauren what she thought of the exchange, she would've thought that was the cringiest thing she's seen all day. but, for the sake of her best friends love life she decided that she would get these two together.
