(Courdelia's P.O.V)
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. After I hit the snooze button I heard my parents arguing. All I could hear is the screaming and yelling coming from the living room. When I walked into the living room and found it empty;I realized it was coming from the kitchen. Then I walked over to the kitchen, and was able to hear their conversation better now. "Presten you have to go you have no choice!" My mother said almost screaming. "Well we already have one half-blood in this house." My dad said just as I walked in. "What?" My dad asked while my mom was staring at me blankly. He turned around. When he saw me he swore underneath his breath. "Sit down Courdelia" he told me in a stern voice. I did as I was told.
One hour later after my father had explained to me that there was going to be a half-blood in the house. It was an important assignment that he got assigned to. He had to leave today. "But why dad?" I whined. Although I am almost seventeen(In three months)I still ask him that same question out of habit. "Because this is a very important job to the Angelic Relm" He explained. Then he motioned my mother to sit down next to him. We sat there for a wile enjoying the peace and quiet. Whats the half-blood going to look like? I don't know, but I'll just have to wait and see. Soon my dad needed to go. He kissed my mom on the forehead then did the same with me. He then said "I want you to both know that I love you both dearly." and with that he left without another word.
I walked into my room to try to go back to sleep, but I couldn't fall asleep. I then decided to go to the training grounds. I called up Jane (My trainer) to tell her I was coming.
