Rei POV:
I didn't waste much time I embraced him, my head on his chest. I felt a breathy chuckle come from him as one of his hand went to my nape combing through my hair as the other went to my waist bringing my body closer to his. Tears ran down like a waterfall as I got to hold him again after so long. "Please.. don't go just yet.." i said with a quivering voice and occasional sniffles. He didn't say anything, just stayed silent, probably watching the sky. I didn't know what to do or what else to say, I stayed there in that position, I still couldn't handle how this is a real situation, how I finally remembered him, it hit me like a train knowing the one that I considered my enemy was my lover. He seems calmer than before. I noticed that on one of his wrists, the gloved one he had a crimson hairband, the one I had given him, I'm glad to know he hasn't completely forgotten about his past. "You know... I can't stay.. sooner or later I'll find the one that will be able to grand me what I've been looking for.. and finally will be gone for good.." he whispered in my ear, his forehead touching my shoulder with a long sigh. More tears came down my face. Even though I knew he wouldn't be able to stay forever I couldn't accept it, my mind didn't want to accept it. "I know.." I muttered hoping he would hear it. A low chuckle echoed through my ears, was that a way of coping with what was happening? I couldn't tell. He lifted his head from my shoulder, cupping my cheeks and looked me in the eyes. "I know.. it would be fruitless that I tried to get you to remember me if I'm going to die anyways, but.. I wanted to spend my time with you before I took off again.. it would hurt too much to know that you got your memories after I got what I desired.." he said staring at my eyes. I could stop myself as more tears ran down, the cold air chilling my wet face."I hate it when you cry.." Yingxing said with a quiet tone, that making Rei smile at his words, that wasn't his intention, yet he was glad she could still smile after all that. "Now go get some rest you'll feel better." He said as she nodded, she went to her bathroom filling the bath tub with warm water and soap. Soon striping all her clothes off and getting inside, once her muscles made contact with the water they relax. Sighing deeply as she sinked her body lower enjoying the calmness. Once she was done she dried herself and put on a thin and flowy robe since it was summer outside. Opening the door towards the balcony she went outside and sitting down on the couch watching the mesmerising view. Rei's long hair waved at the warm breeze as she senced a presence behind her, it was Yingxing and she smiled. He approached her leaning down to her level, his lips went to her exposed neck, trailing kisses that made her giggle. He smiled at this knowing she was ticklish to that. He lifted his head with a chuckle at her whine, walking and the sitting down on the couch beside her. His arms went around her waist slowly getting her to lay down on the couch with him on top of her. Yingxing's long hair cascading over his shoulder as Rei's framed her face all while sprawled around, her hands went and locked around he's neck bringing him closer to her. His lips hovered over hers as a fond smile made it's was to their lips soon kissing eachother with gentleness and passion. One of his hands were besides her head while the other caressing her exposed thigh. A breathy chuckle left his lips as his work lowered to her neck leaving wet kisses and love bites. "If I'm correct you told me to rest, not get worked up.." she muttered with a teasing tone, feeling him chuckle and lifting his head to look at her face. "Indeed.." he answered simply as he laid his head on the crook of her neck, closing his eyes basking at the serene moment.
Before I knew it he was already parting from embrace, his look that of sorrow. I wiped the tears immediately and looked away to distract myself. I felt his hand on my cheek and he turned my head to look at him. "I'll come back.." he said in a monotonous voice, probably because he noticed Jing yuan approaching. He stroked my cheek once with his thumb and walked away, probably to avoid talking with Jing yuan. I heard the sigh coming from beside me, feeling an unexpected embrace. "How's Dan Heng doing right now?" I asked him as I looked up. The embrace comforting after what happened moments ago. "He's okay, just surprised from this reveal." He answered, his voice sounded broken.
